Wouldn't mind him in a duo with Louza as think that would be a decently balanced pairing. However, the prospect of him in a midfield 2 with Kayembe or Cleverley makes me want to be sick. Could see him being a bit like Chalobah in our promotion season. Looked absolutely **** when he was played alongside other ***** midfielders in the first half of the season, but when Hughes came back and Chalobah was just asked to break up play and play simple passes to actual footballers he looked quite effective.
When will coaches of any description play players or coach players to what they can achieve? If he (HC) is not a visionary then let him win the ball, maiming as he does so and give it to JP or Louza,when fit. Very happy with this, some mileage still left in the legs for a change, steel and British league experience in midfield. If his job is to break down attacks and give it to Louza this could be very shrewd business. First sign of a lesson learnt!
