I don't think any club will ever have a manager so immersed in the local community as Graham was with Watford. What a tremendous man he was. It still boils my p1ss to think how he was treated by the press during his time with England

some great footballers don’t make good managers

some great club managers don’t make good national team managers

    but the press went OTT

GT lived in my parents road in Rickmansworth. As did Eddie Plumley. Would often see them returning from Tesco with their shopping as I was walking by with the pooch. We would often have a chat about the teams performance. He never once told me I was talking *****…even though I probably was

    marvellous man..

The one at OT was absolutely epic....as were the celebrations in a pub in Moss Side afterwards. Although the armed bouncer on the door was a bit of a shock.

Assume that was before Rickmansworth had a Waitrose

bavk in those days the choice was Tesco or Iceland. Can’t see GT as an Iceland man

    There's a surprise.
Obviously a good judge was GT.

If the 1881 aren't prepared to criticise Gino the circus ringmaster, maybe they can celebrate GT and what he would have made of the disgusting mess the club is in.
