Where a **** player hasn't played for ages and people forget that they are **** and start imagining that he must be better than the shitters starting.

 

It's not just Okaka to be honest. Our strikers have all been so crap over the last few years that at various points we've also convinced ourselves that Success, Gray, Perica, Murray, Peñaranda, Welbeck and Deeney must be the solution, mainly on the basis that they can't be any worse than whichever of them were in the team at the time!

 

I do think Welbeck was better than the others (when fit) to be fair to him, but it is a very low bar.

If we had kept okaka we wouldnt have got relegated, 100% true fact.

 

Okaka still has bags of talent, he's just blowing out of his arse after 30 minutes. May have been a useful impact sub, but Murray wasn't even that lol

 

His performance against Everton one year was sensational. Unplayable.

 

Great goal too. None of our current strikers could have scored that flick.

 

Always puzzled by how he looked like that for us but since leaving regularly played most of the game for Udinese. I know Italian football is slow and incredibly boring but even so, can't help but wonder whether it was fitness/lifestyle related whilst he was here.

 

Gray could, but it would be an attempt to trap the ball that went badly wrong.

He's just so slow now that it took him a year to get the news out.

 

Gray attempted it from the edge of his own box last season. Just misjudged the wind which carried it to the opposition striker in the 6yd box.

 

Not what you said after his 2 goal Forest debut, although none of this thread (especially p13) has aged well
