[RECALLED] Glenn Murray

Have to admit, i was wrong about this one. I thought it was an exciting signing, showing ambition and intelligence to bring in a 37 year old man who scored one goal last season.

I'm shocked it hasn't worked out.

 

Most interesting thing about this window is to ponder whether two players that were both on loan at one club from two different clubs have both had their loans terminated and then gone back out on loan to the same new club.

Seems unlikely to me but that's the magic of following Watford!

 

Forest have signed Murray permanently, so I guess he'll be reaching retirement age there

 

Sticking point was how quickly Nottinghamshire was likely to reach his Covid risk group. Luckily progress is swift there and he’s been included in the roll out to local care homes.

 

I’m willing to bet he’ll finish the season on more goals from open play than Troy and Andre combined.

 

The sad thing is everybody knows you're correct

 

Either that or they'll play him for a couple of games before realising he can't get around the pitch without the aid of a mobility scooter, then bin him off never to be seen again.

Could go either way.

Came on as a sub for Forest in their win last night, never fit enough for us though? Garner started.

 

Pretty sure he's been 'fit' for a while but just not fancied by either Ivic or Xisco. He definitely had injury troubles around the start of the season.

 

Another ringing endorsement for our recruitment team.

 

Whoever was doing the game on Sky said the first thing Murray did after coming on was give a foul away. Never heard him mentioned again after that!

 

Probably had had a falling out with the club too, it was reported that he was training on his own away from the squad towards the end.
