Hoban going out on loan to a Championship club next year would be the best move in my opinion. He won't get enough games if we go up, if we stay down then he's got to be starting for us. If he isn't then he needs to go on loan.
Vydra to Tottenham, been going round for a while. This is of course if Vydra doesn't want to sign with us. I would say Tottenham and Udinese are pretty level as in they are both Europa League teams. However Udinese have Muriel and Di Natale meaning Vydra would be unlikey to get first team football there so it could be a possibility if they came in with a good offer. Would he start for Tottenham? With Adebayor not impressing this season and Defoe getting old he could become the new first team striker, however I think it would be more likely he would be on the bench for the most part during some of his most important years as developing as a player and could end up like Giovanni Dos Santos and Pavyluchenko. Although it is a biased outlook the best thing for Vydra would be to develop under Gianfranco for another one or two years getting first team football and see where Watford are.
29 May 2013 12:24:18 hornet's coach gan-franko zola is apealing for the pozzos to send granada frontman jacob kozetszki on loan to vicariage road next season. zola is under stood to be a kean admirer and sees the pollish hitman as his number won target this summer. stay tuned for further info.
indykaila News @indykaila According to East Midlands sources that Kasper Schmeichel has asked to leave Leicester City Football Club. #LCFC Been mentioned a few times as someone worth a punt on. Good goalie, great distribution, still young with a sell on value, less wages than Manuel.
Kasper Schmeichel .... Awful distribution, everything smashed downfield as far as he can manage. Not sure if that's down to coaching or his natural game, but I'll be surprised if it goes down well with many prem coaches. Brilliant shot stopper though.
I'd say it was down to coaching/the way Leicester play. If you watch him his natural reaction is to get rid of the ball quickly, short and long. I reckon he'd do well here - but I don't see it happening.
Shay Given looking for a club, 37 years old...... He ll want to be 1st choice and wages will be steep but would be a freebie !
No way. Just no way. Sorry for being so negative to your first post. Welcome to the forum. It can only go up from here!
If Almunia's fitness does not improve, then I think Shay Given could certainly be a good replacement until Bond is ready to make the step up to 1st choice, and he would make an able deputy after that.
LOL What a welcome He wouldn't be the future obviously but if Almo doesn't stay ......... I think there are A LOT worse
from footie rumours - never even heard of the guy but he's massive!! Edit: actually 6'6 https://twitter.com/aaronoakley1994 02 Jun 2013 01:32:49 6ft 9 Cb Aaron Oakley of Swindon is attracting attention from championship sides Derby, Leeds and Watford, and interest from EPL sides, Sunderland, Stoke City and Arsenal the lad is only 18 and believed to have a huge career ahead of him
From Footie Rumours - Another Giant Player - 6'7' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Makienok 03 Jun 2013 10:52:23 Udinese are looking at 22 year old Simon Makienok Christoffersen who is a forward from Denmark. He may well be loaned to Watford initially depending on the Ighalo and Ranegie's situation. I have reckoned that we need more height in the team - this could be an interesting signing, however it is football rumours
The above would be a big risk , very injury prone , walking into door frames , crossbars , no good as a sub as he jumps off the bench when a goal is scored , even been knocked out walking down the tunnel at some games.
I was scuttling through the grounds of the Grove Hotel this morning when I saw two men walking through the gardens, seemingly in deep discussion. As I got closer, it became clear the two men were Joel Ekstrand and Barack Obama. What were they discussing? I couldn't get close enough to hear. But it was clear that they were discussing 'business'. Watch this space.
Yes....I heard this too....they were apparently discussing a two week job swap for a new TV series to be shown in the autumn. It's going to be called "I can do that" and will be hosted by Nick Knowles and Peter Andre. Sounds quite interesting. Basically if anyone breaches our defence next season, they will be nuked.
