I saw him twice against us and 2 or 3 other times
- he is greedy / he can't or won't pass and he disappears when it gets tough - he is not a LWB- no chance at all - far more progressive

I can't believe anyone would spend over £3m on him - let alone us - i have no doubt that he was their best player last year - but they were terrible

 

Maybe the reason he didn't pass is because his teammates are hopeless?

He scored 9 goals and got 11 assists in 37 apps for a cr*p team that scored 55 goals all season.

Good job you're not a football manager then I guess. What I've seen of him he looked impressive, where he'd fit in I'm not sure, but he is quality.

Who knows how true this rumour is but so far we haven't had too many duds from the Pozzo period.

Billy Sharp could be a decent signing. Scores goals and could be useful backup for Deeney

 

If Billy Sharp were to join, personally I don't see it happening, it'd be great. Great Championship player who has a very good eye for goal.

Now I for one am very happy with our midfield especially if we get Chalobah or someone similar on loan, but this guys experience etc would be great and i seem to remember him being rather good in the past. Obviously I imagine his wages etc would be out of our reach but possibly worth a punt if he's considering Reading?

 

Living in Coventry I sometimes go along to some of their games with friends and I have been impressed with Murphy he is no world beater by any means but he has experience and he would be a good signing to play as our 3rd choice goalkeeper.
