I'm sure the club know exactly how to get him in shape. After all they've had over 5 years practice getting Troy back into shape after he's treated his body like a skip over the summer.

 

He certainly has the pedigree, but he does look rather overweight.

Lets hope the fitness guys manage to get him in shape over the summer, because a fit and well Danny Rose should prove to be a great asset for WFC.

I wonder if we’ve set some sort of record for having the most players in a squad who have signed permanently after an earlier loan spell with us (as opposed to signing for us straight after the loan period)

I heard from the man at Esso that we are in for Gavin Hoyte.

 

Just watched his official interview on the clubs YouTube channel - where calmly blows apart Leventhal’s deadline day ‘scoop’ from a few years ago.

He was never at the training ground that day and was at home sleeping.

 

Who is this fat bloke? Where is Danny Rose? Not impressed with this signing, would rather we bought young players we can develop in the Prem and that will want to stay when we get relegated.

Pollock - better than Troost-Ekong
Baah - better than Sarr
Louza - better than Chalobah
Fletch - better than all other strikers in the universe

I'd say we're in a good place right now.

 

This signing doesnt make any sense to me at all. We are gambling that he'll get in shape, get his form back and not be disruptive. The likelihood of all 3 happening is as likely as Troy, Success, Feltch and Perica scoring from open play. We're only taking the risk cos he's a freebie. We were told we were only signing players better than what we already have by Giaretta and we got Feltcher. Scott said we weren't signing established PL players on big contracts with no hunger and a bad attitude. Are they just laughing at our stupidity for sucking up their bull$h1£? The only possible explanation for this signing is that he's mates with one of the players and they've vouched for him. So many red flags flapping in the wind right now.

Good signing in my book. Something to prove, 2 year contract, onus on him to perform.

Even if he’s a couple of pounds over his usual weight he will now be on some sort of diet led by the club along with chasing Sarr in training.

He will be up to speed for the start of the season
