We need to stick it in the blender a little more. If we do that we're going to spiralize them. If we have a slow start we're getting mashed so I hope Bilic doesn't wait until half time to give them a grilling. Pedro to poach another goal. 0-1 orns.

I hope we don't have too many Tumbles but looking forward to seeing lots of Micro-Waves to the fans when we score!

Certainly gives us plenty of food to process.

To go with our ever growing list of crocks, I reckon Bilic will get injured tonight somehow. That would be pretty impressive when the medical team say "back in approx 3 months with a sprained finger."

The Queens Vaults was pretty good when we went recently, pretty spacious and a decent selection of drinks - I think they do food as well but don't hold me to it.

I'm not sure how close it is to the ground, but it's a ten minute walk or so from the station if you're training it.

Yes, there's a stainless steel C*** ring with Malkay Mackay's face on it available in the club shop for £29.99.

Despite all our injuries and the blue bird's home form, we shouldn't forget that a trip to cardiff Caernarfon result in a Watford victory!

Don't think anyone said that, but it's fair to theorise about the impact his own pre season has had on the fitness state of the current squad that was involved in it.

Likely to be a windy old night tonight from the forecast.

Are Cardiff ones for hoofing and chasing? May be a fair tactic tonight with the weather,

By the way...I'm a carer for elderly people and have recently been looking after TWO of your ex-players. A reserve keeper and a first team outside right. Both played in the old first division. The outside right was quite a player according to the keeper anyway. Could have gone far, but "fell into bad company" He played for three seasons.

The keeper is OK, just very old, but the outside right very bad with dementia unfortunately and has very bad knees. He blames the football, says he was two footed in his day. Can't tell you the names you'll understand because of privacy...Both Welsh lads though.

Is there some archive of record of ex-CCFC players you're aware of? I'd like to find out some more about their careers out of personal interest...

Given that our U21s just lost 6-0 at home to Colchester and are 10th in a 10 team league with 3 points, 29 points behind the leaders. A team of Watford fans and retired players would probably give us more chance. My team would be:

    H Gomes

    L Doyley
    E John
    Moog
    K Somers

    G Halliwell
    H Hornet
    M Kunis

    E Saunders
    L Blissett
    J Barnes

No way Cardiff are getting through that midfield!

No Mooney. Has he finally disappeared up his own backside for good.

Mike Vince in goal would be my choice for goalkeeper. He would be able to make himself big and fill up the whole goal.

Mila Kunis in shorts and a short sleave shirt? Too right they are not getting through that, not for the want of trying anyway :p

The prospect of Bachmann trying to deal with crosses in this wind...WTE trying to deal with long balls or pass to a team mate....I've a feeling this is going to be one of those evenings when we show zero spine, heads drop, and we capitulate. Hope I'm wrong.

  31. SkylaRose

    SkylaRose Administrator Staff Member

That might actually play into his hands (no pun intended), as the wind could push Bachmann off his goal line for once. Might be a bit more agile. However his kicking will be ever more wild just to counter that.

It could play into our hands if the aren’t able to launch it long and high because of the wind.

Agreed , Sarr isn’t really a ******* it down, howling wind kind of player , problem with starting Kalu (and I like what I have seen over the last few weeks) is he is likely to have a heart attack by half time
