Twitter have a little blue tick symbol next to the feeds of famous people/companies that certify them as the genuine article. The lack of the symbol doesn't mean the account is fake, but if the symbol is there, you can trust it as genuine.
He only joined today (if it's him) usually takes a while for them to pick up it's a real account. Half the Qatford squad were not official till the Play-offs.
So not only did Frank Smith know that Abdi was signing but he also knew he would set up a Twitter account to announce it. When it comes to Abdi he clearly doesn't have any solid info that we don't.
I also knew all of this, but unfortunately Abdi is quicker at setting up twitter accounts than i, so he tweeted before I could tweet to reveal it. FML.
Bearing in mind, that no one can say categorically that we are not currently living in an advanced computer simulation of humanity and everything we experience is nothing more than an illusion directly plugged into our cerebral cortices whilst in reality our bodies are being used as slaves in a despotic alien civilisation, do we not think arguing over whether a wiki/twitter entry is real or unsubstantiated seems a little inconsequential ? Frank Smith is definitely a real person, very good friend of mine and makes a point of not tweeting rumours, neither on his own account or in the Wobby, so you can be 99% sure that Abdi has indeed signed.
Managed to fool Official #watfordfc as well as me and 500+ others :forehead: Oh well....think he will sign anyway!
I did one of my exams about that this year. There are a few philosophers who think they can prove we aren't in a sceptical hypothesis but not very good arguments in my opinion. I spent hours revising that stuff.
