Sounds more like speculation on his part to me. The other former loanees signed today, so Frank seems to be assuming Abdi would have been tied up too (along with Ekstrand and Anya, presumably). I think he's probably right, but it doesn't sound like he has any solid info that we don't.
I think it's fair to say that the Sports Editor (?) of the Wobby definitely knows more than the majority on here. One thing the Wobby or Frank Smith himself haven't done is jump the gun and make assumptive comments with regard to the transfers.

It's pretty obvious to anyone with even half a brain that I was commenting on Smith's knowledge with respect to an Abdi deal only, not his general access to information as a whole. Considering the tone of his tweet, it is my opinion that his reference to Abdi's status is speculation on his part, not a result of solid inside information. If he had inside info, I have no doubt he'd have phrased things differently. That doesn't mean I think he has no info from elsewhere. I'd be very surprised if he didn't.
And it's pretty obvious that I was referring to his knowledge in respect to the Abdi deal as well. I didn't think I'd have to spell that one out to you. That was a quick nap by the way, are you teething or something?

You know, it might actually be a real account. He's following a lot of current Watford players, plus players like Neuton; Official Site is on there, and Assombalonga is following him already. Perhaps the other players convinced him to sign up. On the other hand, "he's" following Britney, Bieber and Lady GaGa too...

There are so many fake Twitter and facebook accounts about nowadays its impossible to know if the message is from the footballer or pop artist etc or just some geeky kid at home, on his computer, in his bedroom.
Anya next, surely; every player we're seen pictured from the camp so far has been "confirmed" to be coming back, other than him. Abdi and Almunia on the same day, though...just brilliant.
Ridiculous, but I'm almost a little disappointed if it's only 3 years. I don't want to entertain the thought that Abdi won't be here in 10 year let alone 3.
