I know I shouldn't get excited about signing a right back but this would be excellent business. I can't understand the Paredes knockers, he would be really good back up to Nyom.

 

I had a funny feeling in my bones that we'd sign Nyom. An excellent player. Really hope this one comes off.

Our defence is coming along nicely now, just need a new LB/LWB and some Midfielders.

Granada are obviously a bit miffed about this which is understandable.

I gather he has today signed for Napoli.

 

He is rapid and very strong. Very solid full back, although not an amazing crosser when I have seen him play.

I wonder if he could also slot into the right cb position if we play with a back three. He certainly has the defensive and physical attributes for it, but I'm unsure about his concentration/ discipline.

 

I always used to play him at CB on my FM game if that helps.

Definitely need to sign this guy, that wasn't a dive, it was a fairly deliberate attempt to kick the guy in the nuts.

 

He does look very good. Strong in tackle, hard to knock off the ball, fast (once he gets going), etc, etc, but I think we must sign him for his entertainment value alone. Ungainly running style, clumsy, wayward shooting, unpredictable, winds up the opposition.

A crowds favourite if ever I have seen one.

Weird to spend money on a full back unnecessarily, but guess this may have something to do with Santon's new availability or that RB from Atlanta.

 

Why would he say he has a contract and all he has to do is sign it then? Bit weird to put a contract in front of him then a few days later decide to take it away from him.

 

Maybe Santone's coming now?
