well why ucking not? - they had 2.5 years to get together a plan and investors since they were booted off - they have delivered neither - it is true though they have never contemplated administration - if they had we would have had the investors and funding in.

It does concern me yes. A lot of things concern me, but like he said last night, the fact we are a plc company makes pretty sure (ok, this is a little grey matter) we get to know most goings on..unlike a lot of other clubs who's fans are far far more in the dark than we are, and far far deeper in trouble.

If the security of the ground was not in the hands of the russo's then who's hands would they be in ?

Interesting use of language here Hollywood - because in the 55 minute earbashing, there was an huge amount of hate and anger directed at more than one of the previous persons at the football club or involved in shares.

Are the bruvs just playing a game to try and get them to take action, but why should they take action - the mjor shareholders - why should Ashcrafty do anything - did he spend £172k of the clubs money getting rid of GS? And why would GS be in a rush to help people who hate him with a vengance and that includes the fans - nothing in it for him now.

Like I said on another thread - the Bruvs got their timing wrong on this - why didn't they wait until GS and MA had completely ucked up and taken the club into admin - then they would have been the saviours - to me they are just a part of the whole uckin problem. Thye do not have enough dosh themselves to put in or won't risk any more dosh than the value of the freehold - kin great!

The new loan will carry an interest rate of 7.5% above the base rate due to the continuing and growing risk factor and the inteest will be paid every two weeks.

Interesting you saw it like that. The way I've read it recently and the way he seemed to be implying it last night he wasn't talking about a positive but an incovenience. One which is very easily solved - "the AIM listing is costing the company a lot of money so the major shareholders have agreed to revert the club back to Ltd status".

 

The vast majority of clubs aren't PLC anyway.

Do you really think the russos want to level vicarage road and turn it all into flats ? why would they bother ? just buy an empty plot of land and get planning permission.

They wouldnt bother because vicarage road would be worthless to them as far as property development goes. Even under Simpson the land had little value to property developers. Like you say it would be easier,cheaper and better for them just to buy a plot of land and get planning permission.

 

how about £800k to a £1m a year renting to wfc and saracens? five years they still own the freehold and receive £4m to £5m leaving all options open in any economic recovery.

What about the Health campus and west watford regeneration project that is going to go on for 10 years at a cost of £1 billion - plenty of dosh there, is there not? The ground is pretty much in the way.

 

Can we just all blame the council for not allowing Elton's plan for the new stadium in the 1980's then?

PYA, what do you think about the health campus project/devlopment? Surely it would have potentially offered us the chance to sell the ground for a bit of dosh (The reason for Ashcroft's involvement surely?) and move somewhere else? I assume, it could also be a reason why the Russ's perhaps saw fit to invest in the club as well, and now they own the free hold as well.... Just a shame about those flats now stopping anything in the future at the ground

Been in place for a year, yet still will take no responsibility

Sold players on the never never, one where the first payment is next June

Mis-budgetted for the first 6 months of this financial year

Taken the ground as security after it took so long to get the money together to buy it back

Taking interest, further to the £400k interest they took on their origional investment

Refusinng to use an over draft facility that was already in place

Refusal to acknowledge that we would need outside investment


I still can't understand why we are farked.

 

Ok. what at this time would make you happy ? If they come out and said where all the money has gone ? or exactly what their plans are ?

Their track record of being honest isn't great

I would love to know how they have mis-budgeted the first 6 months
What they have acctually reduced our overheads buy
Why they said that we didn't have to sell, Williamson, Priskin, McNuff for financial reasons
Why if they knew we had no money they spent over £100k on a training camp in spain
Where are they going to find the £5m investment from before the end of June
Are they going to off set their loans against the free hold of the land
When are they going to fark off
