I doubt he'll kick up a fuss, he doesn't seem the type (could be wrong), but he probably ain't gonna be best pleased about it

Gray upfront for City would be tremendous. The kind of thing not seen since that dud up front in the Brazil 82 team.

I would say we would have got a result if we can get a half decent fee for him as another club would be purely buying him off the back of his reputation.

I raise you Stephane Guivarch starting the 1998 World Cup Final for France. Didn't score a single goal in the tournament but was robustly defended on Les Bleus forum by user Homme-a-Leisure.

He’ll just sulk and play his PlayStation. He could sulk and let it affect his performances but I doubt we’d notice.

Hope he gets his move for a couple of reasons.

    1. real shame to see any footballer miss out on a move to a decent club like Leicester and waste away at our joke of a team.

    2. for the lolz when we sign nobody to replace him, and the desperate lengths social media bum lickers will be forced to sink to in order to justify it.

    3. he’s a bit crap, really. I want him to be good, and he looked at one point like he would be, but ultimately, he’s been crap.

We are powerless to it - mainly because our fans are mostly wet, apologist losers who put zero pressure on the club for their horrific decisions and who are happy to bend over and accept Gino pumping one in them over and over again - so we may as well laugh.

Serginho, well he did score 2 goals in 5 games at the 82 world cup. 8 in 20 overall for Brazil and 4 every 5 games for Sao Paulo. So not exactly Trevor Senior. Interesting fact: Serginho is the assistant manager of the Santos team that lost to Palmeires in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday night.

AL saying it’s unlikely now with tonight’s game drawing closer.

While I’ve not been that impressed with him, I’ll be glad of him staying mainly because I have 0 faith in the recruitment team to source an adequate replacement in the next 4/5 windows.

So it looks like we will be losing one striker this window (Murray) and 3 CMs (Capoue, Garner and Quina) whilst bringing in one (Gosling).

    What a shambles.

Chalobah is on pretty big money, so even a loan would make sense. I doubt Quina's on peanuts either given we got him on the cheap. I wouldnt be surprised if Quina has a few lifestyle issues so living in Granada, eating tapas and bonking Andalucians will probably do him the world of good.

"Yes Nate, I know that we've got a deal all teed up for you to join an upwardly mobile team challenging for the Premier League title but no-one wants to join us to replace you, so can you just concentrate on the iPad to see who you're supposed to be marking from corners against QPR. Nate? Nate?"

I would guess that Leventhal really knows nothing but has to try and seem in the know on transfer deadline day to stay relevant.

He'll buckle under a light breeze against QPR and be out for 18 months. Just let him go and we'll play Zinckernagal in attacking midfield and Cleverley in the Chalobah role. With Ngakia and Sarr wide.

Sorry I meant Gosling in the attacking role and Zinckernagel mysteriously stuck on the bench until 75 minutes.

It's pretty piss poor if we don't manage to get a replacement to allow this to happen. Has been in the offing for days - lad would be losing a dream opportunity and we lose a very high earner who's been piss poor.

If this window ends with just Gosling it's actually inconceivably bad. We'll have weakened immeasurably (depth and quality) whilst all our rivals have strengthened. I really just wish the Pozzo's and Duxbury would **** off, ****s.

Why on earth do Leicester want him?

Championship standard at best. If we somehow fluke promotion, I'd be hugely disappointed if he was anywhere near the starting XI.

Mind you, if he goes and we're effectively left with 3 midfielders, this would be the height of Pozzo's incompetence.

He doesn't know anything. It's why I unsubscribed from the Athletic.

Any info he does have is presented in an ambiguous nature so that if the transfer move doesn't come off, he can hold his hands up and say "nothing was certain".

I'm sure he's a nice guy, but if I'm going to pay for a subscription to a news site like that, I expect the journalist to have credible info to share with the readers.

There's no reason for us to send Chalobah anywhere other than some wages reduction unless we've got a replacement lined up. It's also unknown whether the replacement would in fact reduce the wage bill. Certainly his agent (and perhaps Chalobah himself) would think that a chance for some PL minutes would increase his value or be a better option, but quite honestly, at this point the club has all the cards.

Now if Rennes ring up and say "All right then, you can have Saliki for only 1 million of the Sarr money now", then something might happen. But I don't see up making a last-minute panic move to let a player go out on loan - unless the loan fee is staggering (read enough to bring in someone like Saliki and pocket some savings along the way).

Craig Dawson was poor for us as well. He's now West Ham's best centre back. Something tells me it's not the players who are the problem but the circus that they're expected to perform at.

The way exciting young talent regularly ‘level off’ (in fact, deteriorate) tells me our standard of coaching is crap.

Could be something in this, but do we have that many examples, comparative to other clubs, of players leaving us and performing much better than they did here?

I think for every Berguis and Dawson there's likely an Ighalo, Abdi, Angella who we got the best out of.
