People who bring dogs into where I work (they're not allowed) and then get real ****** when told dogs are not allowed. "It's not on the website". (It is) becomes "it's not clear on the website" when corrected. (It is). But you can't win an argument with an idiot.

Where do you work where dogs are not allowed?

    Is there a job going?

If you want to watch TV and have all the channels, Disney, Netflix, prime sky sports etc. It'll cost you minimum £82 a month...

    Nearly 1k a year.

How did we let this happen?

If there was a 'things you love' thread on this forum, this would go on it.

Half the broad questions on the internet deserve a 'dno m8'.

You don’t need to though. That’s a bit like walking into a newsagents and having one of every magazine.

    Alright Hartley-Brewer!

I must say I take an instant dislike to anyone with a something-a-poo dog. Usually because you know they’ll have absolutely no training.

I remember pay per view when it came out for boxing, they weren't sure it would be successful . Sadly too many idiots prepared to pay . Now TV think was £2.50 per day not so long ago, now a ridicilous £9.99.

You probably know the reason. In a nutshell, the market has decided that this is what the consumer will stand to pay and that threshold will be inched up and up and up.

There's a large, noisy movement criticising the BBC for being a compulsory tax. The main argument seems to be that people who don't watch BBC4 / Radio 3 / the news / EastEnders / Bargain Hunt (!) / whatever bit they don't specifically like, shouldn't be required to pay for it. The alternative is to pay for what you do want and, of course, if there are fewer consumers the charges will be higher.

The fact Sky Sports charges *and* has adverts ought to be the biggest argument in favour of the licence fee but, for some, it is not. That the anti-licence fee movement is driven by the Mail and The Sun, who have an interest either politically or commercially, ought also be a huge red warning light, but that doesn't seem to be the case for some either.

I did think it might be divisive, but it's how I feel.

Slobbering, stinking, dumb animals who produce nothing except **** and are everywhere as we are a nation who seemingly prize these bellends of the animal kingdom above all else.

You'll need them all to watch football, the lord of the rings series, the new game of thrones thing, star wars, ted lasso, squid games etc.

I get that it's optimal to rotate what you subscribe to. But I'm not that organised.

I would however be happy to pay 3.99 for each service that's limited to one device (my TV) instead of them setting it at 10 quid and accepting accounts are going to be shared.

I do watch a fair bit of TV, but the joys of most of those pass me by. The few football games I watch on TV I watch pay for view, LOTR is for kids and GOT a kids show with knockers. :)

I just make do with Netflix, Amazon and freeview now, I had everything up to the end of last season, including sky sports, sky movies, Disney and apple.

It’s way too much for any human being, as it is I can still spend more than a length of a film actually scrolling Netflix to find something to watch. It stands to reason though if you must watch a specific series then you’ll have to buy that particular providers subscription, but I just try and zone out from what is out there now and stick to what I have, which is still too much choice.

I get companionship/affection from my family and friends. I play without needing to put a tennis ball into a plastic throwy thing and I exercise in the gym or by going for a run. I don't need to bring parasitic beast inside my home for these things.

If you're able to eat fried chicken, I should be able to get me a bucket of fried dog at a chicken fight. All I'm saying is, let's be consistent.

But not everyone has or wants those. For one, I have no desire to go for a gym or a run but I am happy to go for a long walk with a dog (which is far more interesting than being on a treadmill, anyway).

If you need a dog to walk, then that's your concern. I don't. Dogs are filthy. I hate dogs, in case you didn't pick up on it.

    And their owners.

Except you guys. You guys are the good ones.

Competition for the benefit of the consumer. Everyone complained when there was only Sky and it cost £30 a month.
Be careful what you wish for!
