It just makes it clear that we really must win against Luton and Millwall, anything we get from Norwich would be a bonus.

Beat those two and with 88 points it's clear that just a defeat for Swansea and two draws from Brentford will be enough to see us over the line.

I'm really hoping that Swansea fail to beat Wednesday tomorrow so it pretty much takes them out of the picture.

 

Ask nicely and you never know!

 

I would have been confident of that if Wednesday had got anything at an average QPR, not so now.

Still they must know it’s last chance saloon tomorrow - is the problem insufficient quality or too many players who only turn it on when they feel like it?

Great work H77. We are still ahead of all previous seasons, but still not assured of getting 2nd.

Every game (point) matters and we have to play better than recently to be sure. Let's hope those below us don't go on a good run to end their seasons.

Munoz has proved his worth in the championship, he doesn't seem overly stubborn, and he's grown as a manager this season big time.
So will he have the nous for the Prem.?
It won't happen but I'd like to see an experienced part time assistant/advisor alongside him just to guide him thru the Prem hurdles.? (or would that just rock the boat.?)

Brentford and Bournemouth have to play each other, so they both can't overtake us

 

Technically two can finish with more points - Norwich and either Brentford or Bournemouth. But that's being pedantic.

Only one of the chasing pack can earn more points, because Brentford or Bournemouth have to play each other. But it is possible that two of the chasing pack could finish above us in second and third - Brentford or Bournemouth (if they win out) AND Swansea (if they win out and overturn a big goal difference deficit). That would put Watford in fourth place.

Very unlikely but still possible.

 

But two teams can go above us as we speak. But I get your point.

I didn't think my simple comment would draw a list of caveats.

 

Never underestimate the dedication of the forum pedants. Its how they celebrate momentous wins.

 

Utter madness that we have only conceded twice in a game 6 times, and never let in 3+. What makes it even better is we won 3 of those 6 games 3-2!

 

I think it’ll be some time before we see a team this defensively sound over such a prolonged period.

Would be some achievement it if we make it through the campaign without a blot on that 3+ goals against column.

 

I think that our defence might not hold up quite so well in the Prem unfortunately.

Hopefully with promotion we'll now keep Sierralta though.

 

Of the other 3 matches we lost 2-1 twice, so we have only lost one game by a 2 goal margin, then we sacked the manager.
