Eh? He's absolutely appalling technically. He can barely make contact with a football properly any more.

I know. That's my point. The vast majority of our players are technically poor.

Yes, I just mean it's strange to call him one of our most technical. In a squad completely lacking technically gifted players, I'd still have him nowhere near the top.

Yeah. I was originally going to use Sarr as the example, but he plays in a different position to most of those players.

Good signing, a few more like this and we’re suddenly looking like strong contenders

Asprilla looks in that bracket from what we have seen so far I’d say - but appreciate its a small sample.

I’d suggest Gaspar can definitely go into that bracket though.

Agree, but I am not sure why. Don't know much about him, but he looks aggressive and passionate. We need that in the middle of the park.

One of a surprisingly small number of players who have used playing in and winning an FA cup final as a springboard to representing WFC: Rice, Richardson, Talbot, Watson, Choudhury......

In recent years our technically superior players- Deulofeu, Pereria, Sarr, Capoue, Doucoure,Femenia, Hughes, Chalobah - were part of a squad that got us relegated. Maybe Gino thinks they are expensive and no more likely to get us success than a load of scrapping cloggers

Or maybe Gino no longer has a clue what he is doing and has tied himself to an agent charged with financial crimes? Sometimes the obvious answer is the correct one.

Maybe just maybe it's possible to get players who are both scrappy and technically gifted?

The other day, I saw the goal Geri scored against Huddersfield a couple of years ago. Skipped past 2 defenders like they weren’t there and rifled it into the top corner from a tough angle.

Good times. When we had good players.

Just popping in as a Leicester fan to let you know what you'll be getting from Choudary.

    Pros
Very good engine, gets about the pitch and fairly nippy for a CM. Sounds like this will be appreciated after what I've just read about Cleverly haha.
Can look tidy on the ball and drive forwards when not under pressure, his speed helps this
Impressive agent who somehow bagged the lad a 60k a week contract.

    Cons
His awareness is terrible. He'll often be caught in possession or let someone waltz past him, which is why he ends up making lunging recovery tackles
Passing can be poor, especially under pressure and will give away possession in dangerous areas
    Technical ability almost non existent

I don't know what your midfield options are like these days, so i'm not sure how he'll compare to what you currently have. For me he's a league two/one footballer with the engine and physical attributes of a premier league player.

I hope he does well and you end up signing him, but be prepared for mad rushes of blood and costly errors.

All the best for the season, I know very little about your squad, but that front 3 is ridiculous for the championship and should be good enough to fire you into the top 2 this season.

Oh I suspect we will. We've been handing out huge contracts for fun over the past 2 seasons and now our higher ups are surprised that nobody wants our dead wood haha.

Impressive agent? Wait until he meets Mogi. The lad will get 100K a week here so long as he’s willing to donate some to our agent-in-house.

But thanks. You’re my favourite Leicester fan so far…

Poor old @Filbert. First a baby comes along and steals his number one slot in Mrs Filbert’s affections and now it’s likely this forum doesn’t even have him down as the best Leicester fan with ‘filbert’ in his username. Tough times indeed.

Not sure if someone’s already replied to you but it’s an app that is based on taking a picture a day using your front and back camera a day. It essentially builds up a photo diary of a year but as the name BeReal gives away its trying to force people to take genuine selfies in genuine locations aka a selfie when you’ve just woke up in bed, etc, etc.

If it becomes popular no doubt it’ll be ruined by influencers lying and damaging young minds but for now it’s much healthier than the filter laden Instagram.

In conclusion, I reckon BeReal probably paid a lot of money for the feature as a marketing drive.

Just watched one of those YouTube highlights videos and he looks fun. Genuinely couldn't work out if the video was his actual highlights or a piss take. He seemed to win the ball a lot but quite often by just barrelling around in the right sorts of areas. So a bit of a headless chicken but clearly no respecter of reputations as he's quite prepared to kick, or more often than not accidentally run into, some of the biggest named players in the Premier League. Also, never seen anyone slide tackle with his wrong foot so much.

Bearing in mind we've don't have many leaders or scrappers in the team, I will forgive his total inability to pass the ball if he runs around a lot, wins the ball back by fair or foul means and then plays it simple to someone else.

Very occasionally I click onto a thread without really paying any attention to the title. I did that here and genuinely spent about 30 seconds trying to work out which of our sub-standard failures you were talking about. Fun game it turns out and this particular one was really quite tricky.

Not too encouraged by our various foxes fans comments. He can run around but can he actually play football ?
