Hmm, not sure this will work. Brice is a quite common French first name but is prononced breece (rhymes with niece)... So back to the drawing board guys.

    So...

'All we are saying, is give Brice a chance'

This will clearly be necessary once the poor sod has been condemned to the bench for two months.

It's fairly simple, tbh. Pretty much how you'd imagine from looking at it: http://forvo.com/word/brice_dja_djédjé/

I'm just glad to hear how highly rated he is and that people are shocked we have signed him for £3mil. Lots of Marseille fans rate him which is always a good sign as well. Look forward to seeing what all the hype is about.

Just read several pages dedicated to him on the Marseille forum. It seems that the club is going through a bit of crisis right now and most of the players are leaving. Anyway, the thoughts on him are that he is very strong and fast, he never stops running. Some see him as the best right-back in the French league (if you don't include PSG). The main problem is that he never seems to make the right choices and that his all-round vision of the game is pretty poor. Someone mentioned that he was awesome vs the minor teams, but pretty terrible vs the big guys.

Yeah I saw some of their fans saying that too, the good news is though that the general overall view of him is that he is a very good RB/RWB and apparently PSG did try to sign him, if reports are to be believed. The football Twitter experts (aka you're everyday armchair fan) who support different clubs like Arsenal, West Ham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have also commented on how good he is and how disappointed they are that their clubs did not try to sign him at that price.

Song has to be hang the dj as already suggested, it fits perfectly.

He's got good pedigree. The "Brice Price" seems quite low.

    Reason?

Marseille are in turmoil. IIRC, their mega rich owner and supporter recently died, leaving the club to his wife. She doesn't give a **** about football and hates the club, so she won't put any money in and is trying to get rid of it altogether. A french fan asked about this claimed that Marseille's main aim this season will be to avoid relegation.

Obviously as a result they can't compete with wage offers even from a controlled Prem club like us under the Pozzos.

You would have thought he'd have grown out of that by his age

He might wet the shirt but he doesn't drag the leg. I think Watford have done fly with this one.

Given WM's press conference comments today, am I the only person who thinks we will never actually see this guy in a yellow shirt? The whole deal seems purposefully ambiguous. He hasn't kicked a ball since walking in the door so its remarkable how he got through a medical and ending up costing £4-6m as reported? Signing Boufal you could understand injury-wise, given the reported potential but as time goes on, I just don't see why on earth this guy has been signed?

The only answer I can see is that he was bought with Udinese in mind? But if thats the case, I can't see why he still at the club? Got a feeling he is going to go in the WFC record books alongside Junior, Martin Devaney and Juanfran in the 'Enigma" section.

If he goes to Udinese or even Granada, fair enough. We have dues to pay to them both. But if that isn't the case, this deal looks like the one time Gino's wallet has gotten the better of him to me.

I offered, but nobody took me up on, a £10 bet that at least one of our summer signings would never play for us. Brice could well be that one. And there may be others too.

I'm just weary of the revolving door policy of quantity over quality of additions. It's often as though there is no overarching strategy to any of it.
