    Bristol City just gone 1-0 up against Cardiff, after Cardiff had just had a good spell of pressure when they probably should have gone 1-0 up themselves. Doubt either of these teams will be top 6 come the end of the season, but if it stays like this, we stay in 2nd for now, so I'm all for it!

    Yep win for Bristol City keeps us top till for a couple of days. Nige' does it again. Cardiff looked very good in spells but were undone by some good finishing and after the second goal they more or less gave up.

    Sure but Sunderland aren’t a poor club. I think maybe contract length but don’t know why Sunderland didn’t offer him a new deal on the back of the Stoke interest.

    Maybe they did? Maybe it was Neil who proposed such a deal to keep his options open if a 'big' job came up? From what I hear, Stoke's short term prospects are hindered by FFP restrictions, but once they get over that, they can invest a bit more
