Must have something on the final day for Shyt Sports and TB Sport to wink themselves furiously over in endless advert segments.

Yeah I agree. Saved by the diving playacting poser. Going to be hard pressed now to see anyone but Leeds going down with us, unless there are some incredible results final day.

This is the side that won 4-1 at our place and beat us with a penalty a few weeks back - losing to the side who haven't scored at the Vic. Highlights just how inept we have been all season.

    Credit to Everton I guess!

    Probably be a pitch invasion.

Burnley holding on - should have had another penalty tbh.

On the bright side, at least the Leeds fans will be shitting themselves tonight if Burnley hang on or win.

And we have another reason to despise Palarse tonight (if we needed one!).

**** off Everton. The PL get what they wanted.

Would probably be better now if Burnley went down due to their finances. Don't really care though, last day is now a damp squib.

One team I wanted to come down, survive. The worst season ever.

Yep. I really don't know who I want to go down now. I think Leeds would be the pick of the two, a lot of their best players are rumored to be off if they drop. Won't really make a difference to us either way in the end as playoffs will probably be our overall aim with a weaker squad than we had last time out.

Could you see any of our fans' doing this?

Our imbeciles clap a 1-5 home loss so absolutely I could see our fans doing this.

One question shoot out for survival (ignoring Leeds abysmal goal difference, so it’s not quite)

    They must be simple.
That buffoon of an owner has spent 600m and they avoid relegation after the penultimate game.
    Not a reason to celebrate.

That is absolutely sickening. Genuinely the worst season in history.

I bet poxy Leeds stay up on the final day too.

Leeds just have to get a better result at Brentford than Burnley do at home to Newcastle.

Both their opponents have been in excellent form and haven’t taken their feet off the gas once safety has been achieved, Burnley are clearly favourites but it’s still hard to call. I have a hunch Brentford can’t keep on winning especially against a side that need the points so much more, and Newcastle have more in reserve and will make it quite hard for Burnley. Most likely outcome for me is low score draws for both.

    Oh fabulous!
I shall be in West London for a match at roughly the same time as approximately four thousand Weeds fans converge on the area for their game.
May the gods protect and deliver me and my team mates.

The one silver lining is we didnt make a fist of it. Imagine being level with Everton and they come from 2 behind to go 3 points clear with a better GD. Would have been sickening. Roy made the right call to be ******* ******* ********.

Probably better for us that Everton didn't go down, from the perspective of trying to immediately win promotion next season. I think they'd likely be much stiffer competition than Leeds or Burnley.

They'd be a right old mess off the pitch but yes probably still very strong.

I saw the video from the fan who was abusing Vieria. He’s posted it on Twitter. He said whilst giving him the finger “suck on that you puppet. F off” then some jeering. Pretty standard stuff. Nothing racial as Lord Sugar has implied this morning.

Vieria shouldn’t have been put in this position. He shouldn’t be walking across the pitch during a pitch invasion on his own without security. It was obvious it was going to happen had Everton won their cup final.

That said, Vieria just can’t react in such a way. The provocation was not extreme, just juvenile and over-excitement.

Emotions always run high in these moments. He’s got to understand that and not resort to violence. No one touched him, so he wasn’t physically provoked. He’s the manager of Palace so has to be above all that.

It's clear self defence and he shouldn't face any further action for it. Everton should get a points deduction.

Maybe I'm being naive but do teams usually do pitch invasions for surviving a game before the end of the season? All feels a bit tinpot really. Also, semi-final play-off pitch invasions should be reserved for pure magical moments like the Deeney goal v Leicester.

Everton need to have a stadium ban. A points deduction for failure to control their fans. And how is that financial investigation into their FFP going ? Still no sign of it or a points deduction. Funny that. Must be because they are a so called big club.

Imagine it's us or Burnely and we would be being hauled over the coals. Not forgetting the racial abuse directed to the families of two of the Brentford players last week. The scrotes and the one that was kicked by Viera deserved it. Don't go on the pitch. It's not that hard to do. Shame it wasn't Roy Keane or he'd be sailing over the stands.

  34. Did I tell you about that time The Dark Destroyer was brought in as a ringer by one of the teams at the annual WFC Quiz & Curry night? They didn't win. In fact after some favourable rounds, our own team was well ahead of his at half time (although in typical Watford fashion, we choked 2nd half!)

And the ghosts of David Evans and Thatcher begin constructing the fences.

It would have helped if the Palace team didn't have to cross the pitch to get to their temporary dressing room.

Stewards at football do very little. That sap Moshiri could have spent a few bob on Merseyside police instead of frittering it away on Richardson's peroxide.
