I can only imagine the horror on Hassane Kamara's face while watching that steaming pile of dog dirt.

Harsh on Ngakia. Spot on with the rest of them. It was evident from the subs that CR wasn't at all bothered about winning the game. Would prefer it if we didn't concede 4 though.

The importance of this match to us was demonstrated by the last two subs Ranieri threw on: Two teenagers making their first team debuts.

I expected almost nothing from this team, and said I didn't care about the result here, and yet once again this team really go above and beyond in their efforts to disappoint.

Some genuinely exciting young players in attack being let down by constant calamitous individual defensive errors by experienced players and a midfield of which moves with all the speed of the Evergiven. What can Ranieri do when your team's spine consists of Cleverley, Tufan, Kucka, Gosling, Cathcart, Sierralta who genuinely move like they are running in treacle.

Those players are all ****, however there is one who stands out above them all. Im not sure I have despised a player who has only played 500 odd minutes for us as Ozan Tufan. Fat, lazy and doesn't even pretend to give a ****. Absolute disgrace. I dont care what we are paying him or if we are unable to send him back to Turkey - he should never play for us again.

    I don't think so.
I don't think players who have played in the first team equates to first team level, our league position tells us that!
Players who didn't play will feel they would have done better and hopefully they will next week.
If they don't then yes we are really in the soup!

2 leaky defences. Unfortunately Watford out-leaked Leicester. Our defence really does smell of p1ss.

I dont think think its fair to include Ngakia in that really. Thought he at least had moments today (and has had in other games) which is more than can be said for all of the above.

It’s perhaps harsh on the player Ngakia ‘could be’. But he’s never looked any better than a 6/10 passenger so far for us and just isn’t good enough for what we require right now. He’s wasted here without a better player to learn and watch from than Kiko.

Thought we could have been in it at 3-1 but taking off Pedro and Sissoko turned it into a training match we had no chance in. Enjoyed it until that point, was nice watching a game you dont care about the result. Next week is mahusive.

Fletcher, Tufan, defenders, Sema, Cucho. Not really good enough are they?

What a terrible decision from the ref not to produce a 2nd yellow card. Any other moment it's a simple yellow, but not if you got a first yellow 60 sceonds earlier. Thats the only reason he escaped and it's a joke.

Thought Ngakia was our best player today and looked pretty comfortable.

It’s the same old story. Players simply don’t develop at our club anymore.

Except for one pass against Stoke I dont think he has contributed anything to this side all season.

Absolute ghost of a player - half the time I don't even notice he is playing, which takes some effort given how voluminous he is.

That's 3 of the 4 relegation battlers out then (at least ours wasn't an upset). Norwich are away at Charlton tomorrow.

Hardly a glowing compliment though in amongst the other shower of sh1te.

Ngakia has potential sure, but I don’t think he’s anywhere near good enough to be a regular part of things at this level yet.

It's not, but I still think he had a decent game.

If the choice is Ngakia, Femenia or Cathcart (lol), then I'm picking Ngakia. Generally I think he's done a decent job and at least he might improve if he actually plays rather than rots on the bench.

Guess we at least probably expected to lose and it was away.

With our defence anyone can score a few against us :

No I dont think he is a PL quality player, but he was signed on a free effectively from West Ham's U23s so I dont think we should expect him to be.

He hasn't necessarily stepped up when he has had chances, but he at least has potential and I dont think we should write him off given the innumerate chances ******* dross like Cathcart, Kabasele and Cleverley seem to get at this club when the fact they are only headed in one direction

    I agree again.

The point is, semi-competent squad building would mean that wouldn’t be the choice facing us. And Ngakia could go out on loan, play regularly at a realistic level and then come back and learn in training from a good quality new RB. It’s not hard yet still escapes out idiotic owner to realise this simple point of squad management.

I’m not writing him off as a player.

I’m writing him off as being good enough for what we need right now to be part of a squad that survives what’s in front of them in the next 6 months, along with all the other players I named.

That was appalling. There’s no bottle in this team. Taking off Sissoko and our best player on the day Pedro completely killed any desire we had to go forward, looked liked we’d given up. Felt for the two academy lads who replaced them, baptism of fire really.

‘The Mike Dean show’ yet again. Sending off that left back changes the game but he bottled it. He makes every game about him, arrogant c***.

Sierralta isn’t the defender we thought he was. Shocking

Doesn’t matter whether its “just the cup” or not. We’re rubbish and we will be relegated

    Expected total dross wasnt disappointed!
Well done to Borehamwood and well done to the 10 men of Barrow ,Now if we could find players with that level of commitment, desire and fight ,we would ease our (certain) relegation fears.
I have thought for a while the soul has gone out of WFC,
Massive week coming up that will probably prove my allegation, hope I'm wrong.

We took off Sissoko and João because we had no intention of winning this match and didn't want injuries. Job done and our season starts (and possibly ends) at the weekend.

Yep if Ranieri had kept them on and they'd got injured we'd be furious. We may as well keep the few decent players we have fit.

We got one game out of him? Hilarious. Cathcart to start alongside William Samir-Ekong then in our biggest ever game next week.

Have to say, very happy with the day's work. Lots of positives to take.

Obviously the result isn't ideal, but up against the defending champions, we more than did ourselves proud.

Lessons are clearly being learned and there's so much progress on the pitch to give us heart.

Onwards and upwards. Proud to be a hornet after this gutsy showing. Love this team.

So basically the season, it'll take him ages to get any kind of fitness to the required level. Excellent! Three centre backs please Gino.
