Was always going to be a difficult figure to warm to for various reasons, but I always thought some (if not all!) of the stick was harsh, probably the most limited technician you could find in the top two divisions, but he's got enough about him to still be half-decent at Championship level if he gets a run of games
Wow all the Troy news meant this one completely passed me by. Shifted at least £100k per week today, assuming QPR aren't paying full salary.
He ran there on time, just went 4 feet to the right of the press room. Evidently ended up a caretaker's shed with 3 unmasked blokes, a card game broke out and he lost track of why he was there.
Gray's departure will not be missed by many. Always worked hard but I think his price tag and his former stint at L#t#n plus his covid shenanigans did him no favours. Will be interesting to see how he gets on at QPR, a fresh start could well benefit him.
Shame we can never get even half of that 18M back. He was what he was, a below par striker on a very high wage bill. I certainly won't miss him, but I do however wish him success at QPR.
Tbf I'd settle for that, I guess there isn't a fee, but there aren't many Championship clubs (certainly not QPR anyway) who would pay much more for any player, let alone someone like Andre Gray
Gray off to QP-HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa Don't clubs bother scouting players anymore. His highlight reel with him in Watford colours must last all of 10 secs. Being a cr@p footballer is not a crime but his arrogant attitude and dreadful behaviour, especially during the pandemic, deserve him to be tossed into the nearest skip like a busted mattress. Good riddance.
Wonder if any of our current strikers will achieve his “minutes per goal” stats at prem level whilst playing for us ?
Reckon he’ll do reasonably ok, as horrendous as he is he’s playing for his next deal now. He’s going to have to pull something out of the bag, even just to earn a fraction of what he’s on now.
