Have to say, Caracas is one of only two places I've felt 'unsafe.' Nairobbery is the other. Venzuela is a batshit crazy country. Absolutely beautiful and diverse nature, but so hard to negotiate as a traveller.
I coach a lovely lady who works for BA ( or doesn't at present). She told me that when they were in Nairobi she and a couple of air crew colleagues were escorted by robbers back to the hotel they were staying at and then robbed, all at gun point. Not high up on my list of places to visit.
I was on a train in Peru and I can swear everytime we exited a tunnel a different person was sitting infront of me. Spent the next hour or two sitting on my backpack. The most uneasy experience apart from being threatened to get stabbed in Tunisa and Turkey.
I’ve been there and certainly the ride from the airport to hotel through the middle of Nairobi makes you nervous but also appreciating what you’ve got. Kenya was a fabulous country though
I've never heard of this Sky Sports Deutschland journalist before, but I'm willing to assign him the role of final independent adjudicator in this matter, and if he also states that a '6' = a DM then I'll consider it case closed: https://mobile.twitter.com/Sky_MaxB...^1405169207311015937|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=
A number of tweets repeating our interest. From accounts with far more followers than this one, but this account put it most amusingly. ‘Danilo was probed again by Premier League Watford. Let's wait for more from this soap opera, which is back on the agenda again, on the market.’ https://twitter.com/porcosep1/status/1424720863929278464?s=21
Probing him could go one of 2 ways, he either finds it enjoyable and is on the next plane to Blighty for some more, or he doesn’t like it and files a restraining order against us. Lets see how this one pans out.
Maybe trying again after missing out on Yokuslu. Doesn't match Leventhal's claimed description of who we're supposedly after though.
Dunno what kind of soap operas they have over in Brazil but not sure that sort of thing would get past the censors if it went on in Albert Sq or the Rover Return.
I stayed outside Nairobi in a campsite and it was a tremendous relief to get out of the city as I felt very conspicuous. That said I felt even less safe when a lion entered the camp site, I had to hide under my bed. Luckily the lion left without eating (or robbing) anyone as far as I know.
I work with a Brazilian Palmeiras supporting hornet (he not ITK just a football fan) He back home at the moment so asked him about any Danilo rumours resurfacing. He's not heard anything but went on to mention that Danilo is a regular in their team at the moment and they don't have a replacement in the squad. Currently top of the Division and playing in Copa Libertdores this week Most of the good form can be attributed to Danilo being constant in the team. If he goes it will have to for a decent fee - so that probably rules us out.
