If we keep hold of Sarr we're in with a genuine shout of the automatics. If not we'll struggle to even make the playoffs. Oh, wait...
I find it very reassuring that half an hour in,new manager in tow, AFC Fall Over on Sea are still finding the turf from non contact! Comforting.
Bournemouth are not looking very convincing defensively in the 1st half. West Brom look poor to be fair. They play no football it's just physicality and directness causing Muff all kinds of problems.
In the first half, WBA have had four times more shots than Muff, and 4 times more on target shots too.
Posted it in the old thread before I saw this thread had been created…the West Brom kit looks like the Arsenal away ‘sick’ shirt from the early 90’s. The 2-1 Wrexham FA Cup defeat kit.
Yrs, I was trying to make my mind up whether I like it or not. Edging towards no as its a rip off. Of the Arsenal kit.
Hint of Norwich in the Uefa Cup about it too. Bryan Gunn and Jeremy Goss sticking it to Bayern Munich, back when footballers had proper names.
Probably their easiest looking game of the season tbf. Be like the Premier league teams playing us or Norwich at home.
No, indeed, fair to say he was not particularly to blame. Didn't really do that much except possibly put in a very decent corner, but then again he was given 15(+5) minutes at the end in a position that once again is not his favoured one. Augurs well!
I would love us to put in a bid for him. I went to watch Coventry play Wolves in a pre season friendly last Sunday and he looked classy even against better opposition.
If I remember rightly our very own @LouOrns has been a long-time banger of the O'Hare drum, as a neutral fan, at least, if not an answer to all our woes. (Don't know why I'm bothering to tag as it doesn't give you a notification anyway, as far as I'm aware, which makes it an utterly pointless function)
Yes mate, lovely footballer. A hybrid of Mount and Buendia for me. Needs to brush up his decision making, but as we saw earlier, capable of excellence + led to believe he’d cost just under £5M
Fulham playing sumptuous football and dominating Middlesbrough, then concede a weak equaliser. Never change marco.
Looks like the Flam hierarchy kept their promises re: squad strengthening to Silva.....unlike Pozzbury did (not).
Admittedly none of that has been paid upfront! If their FFP situation is so precarious that they seriously can't afford to pay money for him now, well then, they're under some pressure to get back at the first time of asking!
