The scummers are quite 'loyal' to their 'own' (more so than we are to 'our own'). David James did his UEFA 'A' Licence through them. Gray must know that his playing career is very much not in its 'ascendant phase' (to be extremely charitable). I think his 'thoughts' on the LGBT+ community would rule out any media career in today's environment. Also, he would be treated as some kind of hero to a vast section of their fans...
Possibly, but kicking a student in the head hasn't stopped Deeney develop a burgeoning media career...
None of that really matters, have none of you heard Andre Gray interviewed? He has about as much personality as he does the ability to control a football.
To be fair - the joy on Kabba's face when he scored his first goal at home for us was wonderful. He basically sprinted down towards the half way line (away from the Vic) nodding his head like a maniac.
Since Andre Gray is the worst player in the history of the universe, it stands to reason that Kabba was better.
I think the most likely scenario is that he plays out his deal (or sits it out if he doesn't make the Premier League roster) and retires. He's got more money than he needs, he's not going to get a good deal again, much less one in any place that he and his missus wants to live. Does he really want to train every day and then travel to the likes of Huddersfield and Barnsley to go sit in the fog and rain?
Which he was sent to prison after a trial by our criminal justice system. The 'club' (actually the Pozzos according to Dyche at a TFTV event) took him back and from that point he worked to become a regular in our first team squad finally being awarded the captain's armband. I think that's an example of rehabilitation of an offender. Your point being?
Well that's my point exactly, people change, I wouldn't necessarily hold incidents from 10 years ago against them
David James is broke . Absolutely potless. Andre Gray will struggle to find another. A loan deal perhaps, but only if we pay 60/70% of his wages. I'm sure he doesn't care. He has a contract and a lavish hime life. He will not be working in the media once he finishes his career in football. We have succumbed to the dumb down policies enough.
My brother once had a pic taken with DJ when he was a kid. DJ made a quick sketch, went away and turned the photo into a pencil drawing. Absolute class guy.
No way he retires at his age. He’ll go to Luton, Or QPR or Charlton - any number of clubs that would take him down south on a small, sensible wage.
His daughter was in the same hockey team at Snorbens as mine. Stood with him watching them training and he really was a funny and down to earth bloke - this was around the time his money problems dirty linen was washed in public.
No way he’ll retire, he’d be absolutely mad to. He’ll still be able to pull in about £10k per week for a few more years yet.
I won't even care if we're relegated at the end of the season because this dud's contract will finally be over. 1st July 2022 is going to be a great day in our club's history.
No doubt. I have heard that he is a decent guy and a good artist. Unfortunately, it appears that he had made some poor decisions in business and in Women.
I personally don’t think Gray has been given a chance and may yet come good. I’d give him another 5 year deal and challenge him to ‘set the Premier League alight.’
Adam Peaty said the other day that anyone can do anything if they just ‘believe they can do it.’ Bloke has clearly never seen Andre Gray play football.
“There will be odd loan deals when the squads come out. I’ve just got a list from Watford today, there must be seven or eight players on there. They want their wages off now. They say they are working for the club and they’ve been told can they help them move some players out on loan to get the wages down when they are signing all these players in the Premier League. There are six or seven players who have been given to me by one agent today. Am I interested in any of them? Unfortunately I’m not but it just shows you what is happening around the country at the minute.” Neil Warnock in the Hartlepool Mail. Gray must be top of that list. This is Watford and Warnock in peak stealth mode.
Back in training now according to Leventhal. Training with the U23’s….to build up fitness. And says there is some EFL interest.
Christ, he's just returned from an international tournament, how can he be needing to 'work on fitness'? Hopefully that's fairly transparent code for 'you're not getting anywhere near the first team, mate', because I don't feel like it really adds up at face value. If there is actual EFL interest it doesn't matter if the offer is made in units of Werther's Originals; it's a good one.
Hopefully a clear sign this fraud has played his last ever game with the club and we'll never see him in a Watford shirt ever again. Worst transfer ever.
