Blackburn have suddenly come into a few quid. They might offer £1million for him, and a three year deal.
He wasn't slow. He wasn't fast, fast though. He did seem to get in the right position so I guess that's intelligence. I think his technique was the problem
If he moved to a club who put decent crosses in the box he might do alright as he can keep with attacking play. Watford's crosses have usually been a bit hit and hope. Him holding the ball up, etc? Forget it. Chumlax may laugh at what gets written about him but we got Deeney, who has shown he is worse in recent times, on the cusp of starting for us at the weekend. Oh yeh and we still got that prolific goalscorer Success.
Ignore these guys if you are a WBA fan, they just don't want to lose Gray and are trying to put you off, he would be sorely missed and you would have a great asset for your team. There I've let the cat out of the bag, but unfortunately I cannot tell a lie he is a great player, honestly
They say laughing is infectious. I've just watched these for about 5 seconds and for no actual reason found myself laughing out loud!
But Manat, he wouldn't would he, because his finishing is actually one of the worst aspects, along with his first touch, so either way the cross comes in and whatever it requires of him, he's still ****** it. I don't see why our abysmally dire striker situation in general precludes me, or indeed anyone other of the myriad people who liked my comment, laughing at the hideously inaccurate and blustering puff-piece written about the esteemed Mr Pinnock in waiting and displayed for posterity above.
He scored from a cross from Sarr no problem last season. A cross of rare quality that the team was able to put in.
He also missed a sitter from a Kiko cross last season. He was practically on the goal line as well. Didn't even make contact I don't think! Useless ****.
Wasnt Sarr's cross it was Femenia's so i correct myself there. Your post is irrelevant as Chumlax was saying Gray would miss regardless and i reminded him that isn't always the case.
Regular reminder that Gray once Cruyff-turned the ball to an opposition striker in his own box. Mentioning that he once scuffed in an easy effort from a cross is a very low bar for positive achievement.
This absolutism is very boring and strange, as ever Manat - you always whine and claim you aren't obsessed with Gray, camped outside his living room window, but then feel absolutely honour-bound to come up with this fatuous 'Ackchyually' horseshyt every time he's mentioned anywhere on here. This time, you were even responding to a description that even you know to be laughable and inaccurate, and yet you still couldn't help yourself. Gray is a bad finisher, and misses the goal far more than he doesn't. This is something we all know to be true through the extensive lived experience we've collectively had to endure. So, the real irrelevance is your 'well ackchyually it's not true that Gray has literally never scored in his life'. Give it a ****** rest, mate.
A moment that better sums him up as a footballer than any other. A wondrous combination of awful understanding of the game to even try it, lack of awareness of his own ability to think he could pull it off and the coup de grace of a first touch like a trampoline to set up a clear shot on goal from the six yard box. I actually salute him for managing to secure himself such a huge contract whilst being such a godawful footballer.
I concluded this a long time ago at the height of Gray-mania, then un-concluded it based on some surprisingly less insane posts. Guess you're right, I'll have to re-classify again!
Had so many of us going for such a long time, it's probably the best troll for a long while on here. Simple but effective.
Thats fair enough if that's your view rather than saying whatever cross comes in he messes it up which is what you were saying to me in your earlier post. No need to to get your toys out of the pram
Don’t forget that time he controlled the ball just outside the opposition penalty box…..and his touch was so bad, the next player to touch the ball was racing through on our goal.
Serious talk now, apparently we've said to West Brom that he can go...he's from Wolverhampton, he lives in Surrey with his pregnant partner, would he want a move to a Black Country club? Naturally we all hope he does, but is this the right time for him?
He can probably get there in two hours? Pretty sure Foster lives in the midlands and commutes down. Either way, happy to start a crowdfund for a private jet for him if it helps things along.
So one rumour on some two-bob gossip website to send us all into a frenzy of excitement, then nothing. He's going to be picking up his £70,000 a week sitting on the bench for another yeah. Enjoy your £3.64m Andre - can't blame you for it.
I think a lot of where Andre' moves to (or doesn't) may depend on his personal life. With a kid on the way and whether or not his mistress wants to stay near London etc. I am not suggesting any of this is actual fact but it may come into any negotiations he has had for a possible move away from Watford. What we can agree on though is in one season he will almost certainly be gone. He will no doubt feature this season - he may do well generally and bag a couple. Truth is he simply isn't at the level he was pre-Watford and never really has been. Off the field antics have not helped him to warm more with fans' either. Do like his tatoos mind.
Gray-mania! Did I miss something? I think the best thing I've ever said is he's growing on me. Conclusion is that he's a joke of a player, a selfish clown off it. A complete an utter waste of money and time.
