Even without Pereyra he'll not get a look in now Tom's back & Doucs is looking good. Also I suspect there'll be another MF incoming in the window. He might as well move on.

He would be a good signing for a mid-table Championship club, just as he was when he signed for us. He gave us an energy, plus popped up with a couple of handy goals.

Palace moved him on because he was not at the level needed for a mid-table EPL club. We have found that out as well, and I was surprised we signed him for an EPL squad in the first place.

He's taking a valuable foreign slot, and he's not going to get any better.

Freeing up a place in our squad and £3m into the bargain would be good business for Watford and Villa.

Yep. Good for him too. I doubt he'll want to go back to being an emergency backup again which is what he'll be.

He's given his all for us and if most of the rest of our squad had half his determination and workrate we would be higher up the table. He deserves to play regularly but regrettably not really Premiership level. Would be ideal move for all parties.

great servant and has really tried for us but is just not up to the level. Was so proud that he really wanted to come back to us and he really played for the badge. just not good enough at the end of the day. shame. if true i wish him every success.

Lovely bloke but if you come into the team and look poor considering how bad our midfield has been then there's no hope. Had a chance this season and hasn't taken it and at 31 a younger player can take his place.

Cracking fella, seems to love playing for Watford, but I'd rather remember the good times he had, than he be slaughtered every week like he is now. Hope this is true, as 3 mil for him would be great business.

Brilliant in the championship and would be a great buy for Villa. Not good enough for PL and would free up a valuable space on the squad list for better quality.

Well - we never knew exactly - Palarse wanted 2m we offered 0.5m - my guess 1.5m

Shame he is 5000 miles away!

Spoke to a Vila friend of mine and he said they are in for Conor Hourihane. Lets hope we get him and then they can have Guediora!

I'm a bit surprised no Prem sides have been in for Hourihane. Is he HG?

Worth a punt by somebody I'd have thought then. He's looked more than decent whenever I've seen him. Probably wouldn't cost much by Prem standards.

Would like to see us take a punt on him. Seems a solid midfielder.

I'd feel happier about Gueds going if we had snapped up Tom Carroll. Surely, a Watford lad doesn't actually want to go to Swansea? The fee is being reported as 4.5 million -- for a young English player. I guess Giraldi and Dowling have never heard of him and are pursuing a 30-year-old journeyman midfielder from Seria B.

Never good enough as a starter but if he's happy with the bench then he has his uses. I'd think carefully before replacing him.

Would love to see Hourihane here as well

Imagine him and Lansbury sending balls through to Hogan whilst Karl Henry shields the defence

    Make it happen Gino!
