"Thank you Captain!!" Sounds like he's really keen to get to know everyone, he's already following a load of them on Twitter! I'd imagine he met them all yesterday before they left. To be honest he just sounds like a bloody nice bloke, just what Quique wants. Plus he's really good at football which is a plus.
Not too impressed to be honest. I'm with TVOR, as I don't like the sound of this guy. Plus this took too long. Not a good sign.
Followed a bunch of teammates on Twitter. This is as good as the team being best mates and fellow DJ's.
if anyone has got the right to act Billy Big Bollox in that changing room then he has, but comes across fantastically. Great opening statement .
Not sure if this has been posted on the thread, video has only been out a week. Clips are from Fiorentina so the most recent...looks pretty handy.
Surprisingly nippy. Judging by that video you can see why Quique says he's not just a holding player. He looks like he could do a job as any of the 3 midfielders or even the Jurado role.
Yes,wasnt expecting him to be quite so mobile. We now have 4 very decent CMs fightin for just 3 spots.
Excellent on the ball, another nutmeg king, a couple of good interceptions, but no clips of him tackling. Looking forward to seeing him play.
Hmmmm I think you're thinking of another young midfield prospect at the same time who was ex arsenal youth and was until recently still playing. Fair hair. Can't remember his name.... EDIT - no sorry your are right. So who was I thinking of who I can picture scoring a great lobbed away goal around that time....damn that's gonna bug me for the rest of the day....ah David Noble 3-0 away vs Grimsby.....
I have a feeling that Mr Suarez will start against Spuds. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. He's clearly quality but he's not had much game-time recently.
Saw there were new posts in this thread, came in expecting to see him written off already, was pleasantly surprised. I can only assume the usual suspects have drowned their sorrows so much they fell into a drunken stupor.
He'll be fine once he realises that he's no longer in La Liga or Serie A, and that he can't have 5 minutes of deep introspection before choosing his next pass.
This study reckons we got value for money in Suarez. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35526983 Not sure about Shelvey being the best valued!
Good to see Suarez in action on his full home February debut. Think he'll be a really good player for us.
Within a couple of minutes of coming on he's played the best 2 passes of the entire match. I think he might start on Wednesday.
