Would like to see him in Watson's role spraying the ball about rather than being wider and having to charge across and help out the full back. Trouble is Watson is playing so well at the moment!

The problem is Watson isn't a quarterback he's very effective at what he does but dictating play is not his forte as he tends to slow the play down and remove momentum for the sake of keeping possession. There have been numerous times when he could have played a riskier ball but chose to play it backwards giving the opposition the chance to regroup. Whereas Suarez was picking and choosing (at the right times) when to slow play down and when to move it forward quickly. He's the deep lying playmaker we've needed and he was more prominent on Saturday as he was dictating the play, whereas Watson I felt was a little anonymous.
Agreed, Watson might be better doing the job of covering and pressing people like Behrami does leaving Suarez to put his right foot to use in the middle. His two long passes over the top were nearly perfect on Saturday.
On current form I'd have to say Capoue's place in the side looks more at risk from Suarez than Watson's
Yeah he's really hit the buffers. Give him a rest against United and possibly Leicester. I've just seen that Kante is out for our game which is a bonus.
Hes covered the highest amount of kms in the prem this season. Deserves a break to come back fresh for the last 8-10 games
Absolutely, through no fault of his own Capoue needs a rest. I'd be completely happy to see Watson, Behrami and Suarez starting at Old Trafford. Even if Suarez isn't deemed ready to start, I'd be considering a midfield of Watson, Behrami and Ake with Holebas coming in at left back.
Ake over Geudioura? What about a switch back to 4-4-2? We seem to be lacking width with this new formation.
I'd not pick Guedioura over Ake from the start, particularly against a team as dangerous as Man Utd. We'll need to be extremely disciplined if we're to get anything from the game and I just wouldn't trust Guedioura for that. In fact, I'm surprised you've suggested Guedioura instead of Abdi. I'd actually prefer to see him in behind the striker over being one of the three in midfield.
