[Condensation drifted down the Mirror that lay behind the bar, stained with the blood and brains of Jellyman, and in it the words slowly started to appear] Wakened from my endless sleep, The life that once was stole, Absolution from damnation, My (temporarily) resurrected soul. I’ll do my best to keep thee well, I have grown rather fond, Of each and every one of you, Fool, chaff and vagabond. So on night three another Wolf, Was eaten by his own, A cannibal of lupine grace, Devoured him to the bone! And what of poor young Jellyman, A landlord and a scholar, A hairy boot straight through his skull, No chance to even holler. Fast forward to day four's events, The messages at a glance, Miked mentioned In both one and two, Miked never stood a chance! “EVIL or GOOD he has to go”, The angry mob all chanted, The axe did fall the plank was walked, Their baying wish was granted. So what befalls today's survivors, Who's marked for the kill? Be careful ye all, take heed, beware. Or share my fate ye will! A final point of order to raise, I'm sure we'll all attest, To fellow Villager Nairobi, Good wishes, and all the best. x [The words hung silently on the mirror like an eternity frozen in time, finally slowly fading away until the message completely disappeared]
Check the Day 4 thread for the miked2006 story. No more work now until next tuesday, and no more late shifts at all so this kind of thing won't happen again (touch wood). As I said in the daily thread... Apologies for the really late write-up. I was meant to finish work at 10pm, but my boss for the night had a couple of diabetic crashes and things took much longer. I'm just glad he's okay now and didn't have a fit at any point. I am drained. See you in the morning after what promises to be a very eventful night.
Oh FFS. No wonder I'm never eaten - the wolves keep me in because I'm so bloody crap at this. So much for Norway's clues...
well fair play to those that saw it, had me fooled. If that message hadn't come at the end it would have been a landslide Sorry to Harrow - until monday that is !!!
Is the game active over the weekend? PS - thanks for the Avon stuff, is it all just part used testers or is there some new items also?
the Anne Summers stuff is a bit tight, think its a size to small think there is a 2nd hand value in it somewhere
Yay! So now I have learnt to only trust my instincts after copious amounts of Mojito. I will have a bottle on standby on Monday morning. Have a good weekend folks.
No worries. I think most people have come in here after being lynched to say something. You'll have access to the cemetery soon.
You bloody beauty! Well done though Moog. You played excellently. And fair play to Harrow for convincing us to avoid the trap. Now for a pint or two in a real tavern!
Woohoo! Great stuff guys. Monday is absolutely crucial now, could be game over at the end of the day or evil could get back in the game big time. I do have to agree that Moog played a great game, he almost fooled me once again.
SHIIIIT!!! Sorry, craziest day, had to go cover at Fry Days forgot all about the game!! I would've voted Harrow for the record which shows just how sh*t I am.
YESSSS :jumping1: Actually ecstatic about this well done everyone! Got a birthday surprise weekend to look forward to now, back to business on Monday. Free pie for everyone!
I'm convinced I voted. I even posted that as a statement earlier this evening. Really sorry but I'm sure you know where I would have gone anyway
[The karaoke screen fired up; WatfordTalk took a deep breath, preparing for their weekly rendition of Aqua's 'Barbie Girl'. Suddenly the letters on screen started whirling and spinning around to form... new words!] Here again my humble dwellers, Returned to spread my word, Reciting tales of wolves and folk, And what else has occurred. Clan GOOD down 3 souls over night, A wolfpack full of cheer, Disaster for the villagers, Disaster for the Seer. We all saw Miked get his desserts, Beaten thrashed and finished, And through the night 2 others gone, Team GOOD looking diminished. Attempts to wake a tired fox, A canine beast could not, So dragged him to the footy pitch, Dumped on the centre spot. Dummied, dribbled, and into the box, Wolf pulled the trigger keenly, Scored a goal with this poor soul, Just like his hero Deeney! Ashdon next to meet his maker, Fear made his heart flutter, Stuffed full of some fatty lard, I can’t believe he’s not butter! Day five begins, a full moon due, 2 messages one voice? "New Seer I am" both posts would claim, Harrow or Moog the choice. Decisions were made, votes were cast, Twas Moog to lose his life, Philippine took almighty pleasure, Dicing Moog with his knife! Another wolf, another fiend, Another black blood beast, At last a win, a victory, The GOOD onslaught had ceased. The weekend comes and two days off, A chance for some respite, Success at last, the battle won, But the war... is still to fight! [As quickly as they'd appeared, the words returned to their original state. Barbie girl was back; WatfordTalk cheered; The Tavern patrons groaned]
