http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1850027-why-juventus-marco-motta-is-the-iron-man-of-all-rejects Not passing comment on the player, just posting the first non W.O. story on him I found. Excellent experience behind him regardless. Hopefully does well at this level. Surprised we've signed another wingback though.
Or maybe competition for Paredes given he can't defend. Transfermarkt have him as a right-back/midfield?
Linked with Barca a few years back. Seemingly not good enough for the elite clubs in Italy but surely good enough for the English 2nd division, if he fancies it?
Right sided player but I'm sure he's good enough to play on the left like Ikechi. Good size as well and experienced. Can't see any negatives with this signing.
Galli, Cassetti, Angella... Italian defenders haven't been too shabby so far Looking forward to seeing him play
No need to swear sweetheart. He can't tackle, defend & in my opinion offers nothing to the party hence why Slav feels the need to bring in reinforcements.
Blimey - not sure I've seen an article hatchet a player as much as that for a long time! Open mind though - welcome Marco!
Also worth saying that there's already a song for him....
Shall we wait to see him play first or no? Should we consider that these articles are based on him not being good enough for JUVENTUS, one of the biggest and best clubs in world football? I'd imagine there were similar articles about Fellaini and Ashley Young last year. Doesn't mean they wouldn't be the best players in the Championship by a country mile, if we signed them.
I saw that too, it is not very promising is it? I was hoping he might be a more defensive full back, but that does not appear to be his strength, according to the article.
It's hard to understand what actually makes some fans positive these days. Some people are so negative about our signings these days, we've been well and truly spoilt in recent years. We've just signed a guy who Juve paid a few million Euros for and some think he's already not good enough because of one article! By the way I'm talking about reaction on Twitter as well, not necessarily here.
Should be used to a loan move by the looks of it. Always handy to have cover in the short term just incase of injuries etc.
Seems like he could be a handy signing. Good age, experienced. He might not have been good enough for Juve, but we're not Juve so that doesn't bother me at all.
