Ffs why are we signing Ecuador internationals? We should be signing someone who knows the league like Paul Caddis. **** off Pozzos.
A Colombian, an Ecuadorian what next, a Honduran after Saturdays match. They are all just rumours and that probably all they ever will be.
Wobby does do a lot of 'watford set to sign' so I will believe it when I see it. Just don't think getting players just out of deep dark parts of South America is going to be what we need.
They do, and the only one I can recall them getting wrong in recent times is Nicolas Frey. Even then they said at the time of the report that it was an Italian journo who stated that was going to happen and didn't make any claims regarding the accuracy of the report. This time it's worded as an implied source. The vast majority of their called signings do actually happen so I don't quite understand the scepticism.
Sounds like he is playing out of position and maybe like with us they were experimenting. This signing is all about potential, which is what the majority of our signings will be. Hopefully he will start against us on Saturday and show us what he can do playing right wing for Honduras
I see that various newspapers have given 7 or 8 English players pretty poor marks out of 10 for their performance in that match. I hope watford aren't trying to sign any of them!
Milner was also playing out of position at RB and was poor. Therefore he can't be good enough for us.
StudioLucho @StudioLucho 2h Juan Carlos Paredes es nuevo jugador del #WatfordFC de #Inglaterra Which translates to Juan Carlos Paredes is new player # watfordfc of England I don't know if StudioLucho are reliable or not but certainly seems like this one is happening.
He's not what we need. We need good, strong defenders who know the championship or at least the English league. Also we need to ensure we have a good home grown quoto. Unless we are getting rid of some of our foreigners ( Ekstrand possibly) then we can't keep getting these overseas players in. Most foreigners we have had at the club have not settled into the English game and are off somewhere else now.
I don't disagree with you, but we will always be on the look out for another Abdi or Vydra, not in a positional sense, but someone who will make it.
I'm sure the Pozzo's are sure of the home grown quota and will get a team out for the start of the season. I'm sure we are in the market for experienced championship players but English players are over priced.
Gino's been pretty clear over the two part interview - decent British players have completely unrealistic salary expectations There's no point complaining about it, it's his train set Don't like it... buy yourself a football club
This might not be confirmed until after he's finished at the world cup in fact I would think there will be a lull until after the whole things finished
