He's been given a squad number so I think it'll be pretty embarrassing it was ever in doubt he wouldn't get clearance.
Mr Paredes has now received his visa and the club are just waiting on the Spanish FA to file their paperwork. Expected to the eligible for Saturday and the club are described as 'not concerned' by the delay. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ner_despite_delay_in_international_clearance/
Apparently the paperwork was nearly complete, but then the Spanish Inquisition turned up and the club weren't expecting it.
International clearance now come through http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ener_after_receiving_international_clearance/ Can't see him figuring though, more likely Stevenage?
I predict this delay has had a hugely negative impact on his season having missed all the warm up games. I can see him struggling to hold down a place now sadly.
Doesn't speak English, hasn't been able to play any games and Tamas is helping him find a house. I feel a bit sorry for him :sad3:
If he is in the team for Bolton then he's clearly been very impressive in training. If not I'm sure we'll see him against Stevenage.
I think we've all been waiting for this http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11388941.UPDATE__Paredes_eligible_for_season_opener_after_receiving_international_clearance/?ref=mry
I hear he's been trying to get to know the Watford area by driving around at night. The other night Meatloaf saw him - yes, he saw Paredes by the dashboard light! I'll get me coat.
