I knew someone would say that. You realise that I have never (at one point) stated that this was fact (it quite clearly says I believe in that paragraph of mine). Out of curiosity, which part is conjecture, because all of it certainly ain't: Facts: 1) Dyer is an arrogant, divisive prik 2) He did feel betrayed by Leicester for offering him a 1 year deal as that is what he thought was the club's policy for over-30s before Lestah offered Morgan a 3 year deal 3) Mahrez was constantly getting picked instead of Dyer because Pearson realised he was the better player. Look at the first-team line ups from when Pearson bought Mahrez 4) McGugan was a dreg from Forest. In the 12/13 season he only started 13 league games. More to the point, if you think that what I have written is conjecture, that surely implies you have more information than I do on why Dyer chose us over Leicester and why he had his outburst. So please, do spill Mr ITK...
Not at all. He was implying that what I wrote was fact. That post was clearly an opinion post and the idea of calling something conjecture can only be used if it was being portrayed by the writer of that post as fact. I also believe I have all the information so I can't possibly be agreeing with fullon
http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...d-move-for-watfords-lloyd-dyer-as-stephen-wa/ I enjoyed this greatly. Would be brilliant if the **** ended up at Leeds!
Leeds fans looking for a bit of info on Lloyd Dyer, he is actually pretty decent at left back, probably his strongest position now. He's getting on a bit but he breezes past players still and has an excellent football brain.
I can't understand why Jokanovic isn't playing Dyer regularly at Left back, definitely the best I've seen this season, for someone his size, he doesn't half snap into the tackle - will be a shame to see him go, especially with his passion. Leeds have got a decent one here....
Was amazed he didn't get a run in the team in defence over Pudil when we were playing 4-3-3. Now we use wing-backs I guess his best position, left-back, isn't available anymore although with his work ethic and discipline, I'd still like to see him given a go out there over this new Mexican bloke.
Next time Mr Pozzo, please take note, we want an ENGLISH player with CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE. We aren't going to get promoted with angry of these half arsed foreigners who lack commitment and are bad apples.
No he hasn't, he's courageously battling for his place back in the team after the management have been bang out of order to him.
Conjecture being an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information. So by your own admission is it is indisputably conjecture.
I think they can sign players on contracts if they're established players and if their wages come to less than 600k. Something like that, I can't be arsed to look it up. I wouldn't have thought we'd pay his contract up so soon into it, we could just give him away if someone wants him?
Conjecture being an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information. Re-read what I have said and tell me which part of my breakdown is incomplete- then I'll admit it's conjecture
Poor sweet Lloyd. What have they done to you my prince? We were so happy together and you threw it all away for this? They don't even care that you're leaving. They'd rather argue about what constitutes 'conjecture'.
Just give me £20 towards the petrol please. We'd have a lovely time travelling back up the motorway together.
'Just keep left. Keep left. Get in the left lane! I don't care if it's the wrong way it's what I've done for my entire career!'
If there was a case for a player not knowing about the manager he was signing for this is it... Mind you even Cathcart today said he didn't speak to Bepe before joining.. I know that is how transfers are done now.
Come back to me Lloyd. With our combined strength we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy.
Sorry Filbert bit uncalled for that. I'd be quite happy to drive Dyer back to Leicester for you though.
You're right though :doom: I really expected Lloyd to be hit for you. No chance he'll come back here, no doubt Pearson felt very hurt by Lloyd's rejection after all NP did for him and his career.
I think the fact that you guys offered a 1 year contract and we jumped in with a 3 year deal should have set our alarm bells ringing.
