    Without doubt the roundabout at the end of Whippendell Road marked Croxley should be remodelled to carry a statue of GT,Elton and perhaps John Barnes and Luther Blissett.

    I love GT as much as the next man but some of his tactical decisions this season have been baffling. The signings of Garner and Mirfin also left a lot to be desired

    Couldn't agree more. Although not by the chap who sculpted the replica of Sir Bobby Robson. I think whoever did the one of Brian Clough in Middlesborough should get the gig.

    What can anyone say about GT ? There have been some very good managers and players before he arrived but he made the club what it is today and defined it's character and brought us out into the footballing limelight. The club, fans, many players and the whole town owe a great deal to him.

    It would be an entirely merited and fitting tribute to name the East Stand after him and the sooner the better. It will be a very sad day when he does indeed shuffle off to where the season never ends.

    Graham Taylor - Black Eye ?

    I know this is a bit random, but a Wolves friend of mine was on his way to Sweden for the Friendly and on his Plane was God Taylor who he said had a very bad black eye? Does anyone know anything about this? Did he have a toe to toe with Bas?

    I thought it was some kind of joke as he hates Taylor and he knows I thinks he walks on water but just spoke to him and he did really have a black eye.

    On the following Friday, I heard he had back pain, sorted it out with two nurofen ever four hours for a day and a half. Done it taking the shopping bags from the car to the house, no one else involved as far as I'm aware.

    Legend obviously but my view of him will always be a bit tainted after he came up to me mid game when I was ballboying and told me to slow down when we were losing.
