I don't want to be the manager so I nominate Roberto Mancini and give him this list

GK - Pickford (unrealistic but doesn't hurt to at least try), Scuffet, Karnezis, Begovic, Daniel Bentley for HG purposes

LB - Robertson, George Friend, Plattenhardt (having a great season at Hertha Berlin who currently sit 6th in the table), Charlie Taylor (will probably go to Everton)

CB - Gibson, Maguire, Acerbi, The American John Brooks just to have another American CB in the side plus he is actually very good which helps.

MC - James McCarthy, Niklas Stark (yes another Hertha Berlin player, future German international who can play DMC and CB). Davy Propper for his name and he actually is pretty good. Lorenzo Pellegrini (according to whoscored his weaknesses are passing, tackling and discipline, so he will fit right in, all joking a side this kid is good and we have no chance of signing him). Wilshere, just kidding he's crap!

RW/LW - Adama, Helder Costa, Edin Visca (Bosnia Herzegovina's Ribery and tearing it up in the Super Lig for Istanbul Basaksehir).

ST - Tammy Abraham, Chris Wood, Falcinelli, Riad Bajic

Quite honestly we just need players with some balls, grit and determination because right now we have a bunch lady parts running around who are there for a paycheck and nothing else. The only players with any balls in our side is Holebas and Doucoure, even Deeney has lost his which is a shame.

Not the most attractive signing I know but 27 goals and 4 assists in the championship is pretty decent. Still only 25, and at least he plays with his heart on his sleeve. Plus if we get relegated next season with Mazzarri in charge we have a ready made championship striker haha

I especially like the thought of Iheanacho,Imbula and Lemina. Never considered Vorm but good call too.

Robertson is apparently signing for Liverpool so a paper says this morning.

I would keep Capoue but he would not be guaranteed a starting berth.

 

I'd take Harry Maguire now too with Hull as good as down at time of writing.

 

If we get Marco Silva, I hope he brings El Mohamedi...just so I can boo him.

There was someone on Twitter the other day who posted a prospective team for next season that had Kyle Walker at right back. And he was being genuinely serious.

 

Picking over the relegation scraps, I'd take:

Sunderland - Pickford, Defoe
Middlesbrough - Gibson
Hull - Maguire (and their manager)

 

Not sure what everyone's obsession with Defoe is.

 

He scores goals. He has great movement and still has pace. Different to (and better than) what we have and HG.

 

Might have something to do with scoring 30 Premier League goals in the last two years for a team that is even worse than us!

 

Wilshere (rubbish but can't hurt to try).

 

And 34 years old...so one for the future....no thanks.

 

Pickford ? There's a thought. His price will have dropped by £5m after yesterdays clanger too.

 

Udinese are overflowing with quality keepers. Surely we will utilise this.

Scuffet would be a brilliant signing, but he's still young and I doubt his mum will let him come to England - she stopped a move to Spain because he had to stay and finish his studies.
