True but depends on how the deal is made up. i.e how much up front , whether it is based on appearences , what re-sale clauses there may be , if foolham are subbing his wages in an effort to get rid of him .

That's not a very ambitious approach!

Why do you say that? An established Premiership player has a big decision to make in deciding whether to join a club massively odds on for relegation. His whole career could be riding on this move. If we do what we did last time and stay down he might lose three years in the Championship. He has to buy into the 'one step back, two steps forward' approach we're trying to sell.

Ouch indeed. Well, he can still produce the goods R'kid Aidy. But in retrospect I was a tad too optimistic. I got sucked in.
