Well, we weren't a Premiership club when we signed Hendo and he did an excellent job in the Championship. Kabba was a mistake and if anything we've proven to next years Premiership clubs that he won't make the grade. Ever.

Whats the problem with Davenport?? I think he's a quality defender, so much so that Spurs really didnt want to let him go. I reckon we should go for him NOW as we badly need to strengthen at the back. We'd get him for a £1million which is an absolute bargain!
hes an average-poor premiership cb could possibly thrive in championship. Tottenham keep players whether they need them or not they love buying loadsa players for relatively little money with some paying off.
I was probably a bit harsh on Davenport, if he had a partner at the back who was experienced he would probably do a very good job, especially in the Champ. He took too many steps forward and his career has gone backwards (a bit) as a result through not playing first team football. A few seasons back (when he was with Cov?) he looked a very good prospect
