    We'll be playing on the counter, I have no doubt about that. Probably half the reason they haven't rushed in an AM yet.

    Did not go to this match, but quite reassured that the Head a Coach is prepared to adapt and mix formations. We need to catch as many points as we can through pragmatic management of the players available.

    10-15th would bite you your hand off for that, after changing manager in the close season to expect anything higher is living in cuckoo land!

    So it's agreed then. We will start this season as we finished the last. Lacklustre, so safe that it's boring and ultimately destructive. Innumerable defensive midfielders and defenders but still no one covering the wingback positions if used to any great effect and a lack of any link up between them and two players up the other end of the field by anything creative. We will rely on Gomes to make some saves and bore draw a few points after the opening 5 games?

    Oh dear, the club have put a 'top 5 pre-season goals' video up on youtube and one of them is a penalty. The only 3 goals that didn't make the video were Troy's other penalty and the 2 by Berghuis. I can only assume his second was omitted because they were embarrassed that our joint top scorer from pre-season has left.
