I'm sure it's fine to have short citations, within reason.

WBA lose to Torquay and Palarse are beaten by Fulham. Clearly the two to join us in relegation this year

We are just a minority of opinion. The majority of fans don't come on here and look at these, at times, extreme views, they got better things to do.

Why doesn't the Belgian lad ever get a start at centre back? Ditto Success. Not sure what we're going to learn by playing Deeny/Ighalo again.

not a single new signing in our starting XI of our last friendly is a bit worrying

Not too much creativity on show in the starting line up today.

Starting with 7 players that played in the Championship for us. Very good Championship side, but I'm not convinced this will really punch it's weight in the Premier League this season somehow.

possibly, but i would've hoped that with a week to go Mazzarri would have done all that and essentially know our starting XI for Southampton

Can't see why starting success at centre back would teach is anything

New signings are not a step up on our starting 11. Basically fringe players. I'll have a tenner with someone that at least one of them will leave by next summer with zero league minutes.

I put that down to Ighalo's exceptional form. He was playing like one of the best players in Europe for half a season, but once his form fell away, we were really exposed.

It's a solid squad, but I think will struggle to break down organised teams. Get the players we are chasing, then the entire picture changes, remain as we are, it will be extremely tough.

Cant see what wally needs to learn about Anya

Hard worker, always gives 110%, but a file tiles and maybe a towel rail short of a full talent bathroom

Check twitter. Someone is periscoping it (although if you don't like your shaky camera footage then avoid it). It's the best we've got though...

    Edit: It's now gone.

#watfordfc now playing 4-3-3 with Anya & Holebas full-backs. Deeney up front with Success on the left and Ighalo on the right.

I just don't think 3-5-2 would ever work for us in the Prem. I hope this signifies a permanent change of heart. 4-3-3 seems to suit us far better. Can Berghuis be recalled? :D

    Half time: 1-0

    Struggling to create good opportunities.

Would be surprised if 4-3-3 works for Ighalo. Not so confident in our defence either this year if we switch to it.
