lost 3-2 at Villa today, improvement on their last visit a few months ago and with the new manager and some new signings things are looking better. home to London Bees on February 26 at Kings Langley, come down and cheer them on!

I knew I should of applied to be part of this squad - I'm a good defender in the Sunday team I play for.
I would love to be at least half as good as the Watford Ladies are, but full credit to them all and the coaching staff for trying to turn it all around. I really think they can and they certainly have the passion.

The only two league defeats this season have come against Leyton Orient, home fixture was a 7-0 drubbing. Steve Tilson was amongst the crowd on Sunday

Out of interest, why are our women's team called "Watford FC Ladies"? Shouldn't they just be called "Watford FC"? The men's team aren't called "Watford FC Men". As they are a team playing in the woman's league surely the "Ladies" qualifier is redundant.

Oh sorry I didn't know that (or rather I was just being an ass as the yanks would say)

And to be fair my daughter plays 'soccer' in Australia and she's rather good at it.

We have been drawn against Leyton Orient in the semi finals of the L&SERWFL League Cup at Mile End Stadium. They beat Carshalton 2-1 in their final group game.

Could you be a shirt sponsor for Watford Ladies?
Watford Ladies FC Youth run many girls teams from Under 9s up to Under 18s and as we grow as a club, we are increasingly in need of support from the local business community to enable our girls to flourish and develop their skills in a safe and nurturing environment. With many of our current two-year sponsorship deals coming to an end in the close season, we are reaching out to other potential sponsors in the hope that we can attract some vital investment for the club. While Watford Ladies FC is affiliated to Watford Football Club, the youth teams currently have to fundraise by themselves in order to keep going.
The FA has recently announced in their ‘Gameplan for Growth’ that it wants to double the number of women and girls playing football by 2020. With girls and ladies’ football already having overtaken boys and men’s cricket and rugby as the 2nd largest team sport in the UK in terms of participating numbers, there has never been a better time to help us support the development of girls football in the Watford area.
If you would like to get involved and would like to discuss options please email sponsorship@watfordladiesfc.com
    Thank you!
