Not sure about the idea of Bayo in for Davis. Davis is clearly not fully fit and struggles to last 90 minutes, but with Bayo as central striker the front line has no cohesion, so we are much less likely to score first if he starts. I would rather start Davis with the hope of getting in front, with the expectation of bringing Bayo on in the second half. If L*t*n are chasing the game late on, Bayo is capable of scoring given more space.

 

Plus he has a physical presence which we shall need

 

Needs a 4 4 2 for this one.

Needs Sarr supporting whoever is rb so we don't get overloaded.

Needs Troost Ekong to play like he's a fan rather than play like he's a fan playing.

Needs the midfield to run til they drop.
