Indeed. Might give us the opportunity to get rid of these ****ers that don't like a fight like Gomes, Deeney and Vydra and give the kids a run out.
Blimey, if anyone is feeling negative about Watford at the moment (Moog...) just head on over to the Foxes Talk pre-match thread for a pick-me-up: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/109175-watford-away-pre-match/?page=1 Poor lads are in a terrible state!
The juggernaut AKA Stefano Okaka is back for this one so the strikers might actually score for a change
Will Behrami or Britos get dropped after last time out? Will Kabasele get a start and will it stop Vardy toasting our pedestrian back 3 if he does? I am mostly hoping we scrape a point. . . Not Feeling Positive - Until Success and Cathcart return and we go 17 unbeaten.
If Vardy starts, then Kabasele must start. Watson in for Behrami. Go 442. Drop Ighalo, play literally anyone else.
Kabasele was ruled out of Belgium's 2nd game through injury, so I'd be surprised if he's actually available for the weekend.
Didn't realise that, thanks. Not helpful. We were really fortunate with injuries last season, good job we have a deeper squad this time as not so lucky this time around.
Kasabele also apparently had an absolute nightmare of a game against Holland! Our defence just needs to sit deep against Leicester. They really struggle when teams do that.
Prob just coincidence but since Collinge left we've suffered more injuries that seem to take longer than expected to heal
Just imagine - if we had the often discussed "winter break" it would be like three back to back international breaks.......
Back four for this one I think and sit deep Leicester are dangerous if they get in behind with the pace of Vardy. Going to have to stop the crosses coming I not the box because Islam Slimani is a beast in the air and certainly knows where the goal is. I would certainly be content with a point from this one just to kick start us again after the shambles in self pity City.
Currently, among Leicester fans playing fantasy football, the most commonly used player is Etienne Capoue. They're actively betting against themselves at this point, the poor blokes.
away fans dont seem to have cottoned on to the fact that capoue has been absolute droppings for months. He'll dine out on those early goals all season. It amuses me when away fans worry about deeney and ighalo being a "handful" too. They soon learn the truth: they're ****.
Haha exactly, same goes for the pundits. Hopefully we can keep the myth going till January and cash in and get some decent replacement/s.
What you are saying is true but it does always make me wonder how often we do the reverse for teams saying X and Y are a threat when their fans are thinking they’ve been dire for months etc. As for the game have absolutely no idea how it will go, Leicester have been inconsistent and so have we. We are desperate for a performance as it feels a long time since we’ve put one in and then there’s that hammering Liverpool gave us. Hopefully we have injuries back and everyone feeling fresh again, we are desperate for Capoue and Behrami if they play to show some energy and willing if nothing else. Hopefully Vardy won’t be back on form too much after playing well for England his confidence could well be back up. I do fear their pace going forward could pull our CBs all over the place especially if Kaboul goes galavanting up field as he likes to but I think this is where Behrami/Capoue/Watson are going to be vital, they need to limit the supply and get in the faces of the midfield so they can release Vardy/Musa. I couldn’t give a prediction with any confidence so I’ll sit on the fence with 1-1 with Amrabat knicking one.
I will be very, very disappointed if we don't finally drop our any of the most inconsistent performers. Behrami, Capoue, Ighalo, Deeney are on my list. If at least one of them doesn't get dropped, then I fear this season will mirror last year.
If Amrabat scores, the Hornet shop will print commemorative T shirts like the Lloyd Doyley ones. Pundits still talk about Deeney and Ighalo as if they are some sort of golden partnership still, despite the fact the Iggy has only scored 1 league goal. We need a new forward come January or this side will start to slither down the league table.
We need to learn from last year and keep Mahrez if that's his name closed down ,he is the quality player the others including Vardy in my opinion just run and work hard for each other. Need Behrami or Watson to leave a mark on him early doors and then other team mates to take there turn letting him know he can't just walk into the Vic and take 3pts.
hey, I have never pretended we're not thick ***** too! (he's still in my team, along with deeney(!) and janmaat...)
