It was as marginally offside as Lukaku's first yesterday, and that was allowed too. We're up with Man U for big club favouritism, then
I’m not normally one for going ‘in’ on a referee’s performance but I can’t disagree more. Jon Moss’ performance today is worthy of criticism. No consistency in what he was giving and his regular faults showing around the hour mark - he can’t keep up with the game so gives what he thinks is correct/what he sees from his out of range position. It’s not a bias one way or another. But his lack of fitness makes its seems as such and from 60 mins onwards, too often his decisions are a lottery. I cannot understand the train of thought in saying Deeney was lucky or got away lightly. He trod the line with officials brilliantly today, especially given who was in charge. He was cajoled from pillar to post by their back 3 and singularly gave back as good as he got. He’s been open (and rightly so) to criticism at times the last couple of seasons. But today was Troy at his absolute best since we have been in the PL. That deserves praise.
Unlikely I know, but can anyone pull up any stats in terms of if we've ever scored the winning goal against Leicester at home & in injury time before?
I don’t buy into refs being biased , but do think some refs are not much good. Moss is very definatley not a good ref.
There’s nothing more enjoyable than an injury time goal that felt so good! Thought we played ok, had the better of the chances and certainly tested scmeicel more than fister was tested. We generally did well in handling vardys pace despite our lack of pace, due to our organisation . Played some good football at times , but often the final ball was missing as has been the case recently . Thought everyone contributed but as said Deeney was particularly immense , doucoure and Capone excellent and Hughes and delefeou didn’t stop running . I can see Pereyra getting a lot of criticism but personally I thought he played better today than he has been playing before his injury ( although he has been virtually anonymous recently ) .Not sure I’d agree with dropping him as who do you bring in (Sema.) and remember he can always produce that moment of magic that could win a match . John Moss isa truly bad ref , but I sometimes think other refs don’t give deebey fouls either because of the type of player he is even though they would give the same decision in favour of a smaller player . Can’t really say I hold much animosity towards Rogers anymore . It was all a long time ago and he looks like a man of integrity next to Silva. This is truly a great season we are having . The football isn’t quite as sparkling as it was early on but we are grinding out results, heading fir our best points finish, with 7th spot up for grabs and still in the cup. Finally just a mention fir Andre Gray . He’s actually showing himself to be a great finisher this season . I can forgive his technical deficiencies as he is getting into great posiions regularly and putting the chances away. He should consider himself unlucky not to be starting but us a more than capable sub.
I thought he looked off the pace today. But who wouldn’t having got up at 4am to plough the top field?
The frustration with Bobby is that his potential is so great. Maybe if he played to the max each week, he wouldn’t be playing for Watford.
Exactly. Vardy was down for at least 3 mins in that incident. I reckon he down for almost as long just before he went off.
Moss rounded off his incompetent performance by only playing 3 minutes and 23 seconds of the 4 minutes injury time - my daughter timed it and he denied Leicester another half a minute of play.
As a side note, walking past the coaches down Vicarage Road there was one that seemed to have been hired by a group of geriatric Leicester hooligans. A load of blokes old enough to collect their pensions dressed in Stone Island and MA Strum jackets dishing out abuse. I hope it had a toilet as that load of enlarged prostates was never going to make it back to the East Midlands without a few drips.
Well, I don’t want to get you into a phone upgrade situation but, watching this one on tv, the added added time was a hot topic chez Dad.
& that victory should also be dedicated to all the dirty two bit L*tn scuz reading on here. Must hurt knowing that one of your former players is helping us do well in the PL.
The Celtic fans were over the moon at our playing "I just can't get enough" after the game. Imagine their orgasmic delight when their second favourite team turns out in green for our next match on TV #weonlydoitforyou
