Before the Villa game I said I'd be disappointed if we didn't get 3 points. I'm saying the same before this game.
I predict exactly the same game as United. We'll be tosh in the first half, going one nil down. This time though, our improved second half performance will end in a draw.
Jurado, na id prefer Ibarbo or Guedioura given a go.. Perhaps both.. No Jurado or Abdi, play Guedioura and Ibarbo instead.
Deeney and Ighalo play opposite roles to what they did when Bassong was here, plus we have a different head coach.
Given the run of games, and the nagging feeling I've got that Sunderland will beat us, I think it's pretty important we do win this. Not that I think it'll be easy. Would be nice to get a refereeing shocker in our favour against them though
No no no to Jurado, this is will essentially be a championship game, they've got virtually the same team and we'll probably be starting about 6-7 from last season too. The last thing you need in that situation is Jurado cutting inside and making 5ft sideways passes all afternoon.
Instead of the lame Justin Bieber concert mobile phone waving light show, can we wave carrots instead?
Alex Neil looking to win "against the likes of Watford"...hope those words motivate our boys to dogged resistance and heroics. Norwich are nasty and I will be gutted not to win this. The bigger picture is that we are more likely to stay up than them.
Read one of their fellas saying how a loss for them and they're 9 points behind us. That'll be nice. Feckin disrespectful if Alex Neil used a phrase containing "the likes of Watford" That's a good enough reason to want to beat the ****
I'm surprised you can make out what the man's saying. I tried watching a video of him talking about today's game, but apart from "Waffer" which I reckon was "Watford" once or twice, I could barely make out a word.
I expected plenty of 'the likes of Watford' this season, but coming from Alex Neil of Norwich, it just sounds hilarious.
Well, he's not wrong is he. We're looking for wins "against the likes of Norwich". Of course everyone should be winning against "the likes of promoted teams", including other promoted teams.
Just say No, to Jurado! Put Gueds on, lets give him a go. Always believe, in Ighalo, Just say No, to Jurado!
the difference being where qsf respects the opposition and says we cannot afford to be complacent, alex neil seems to be instilling this complacency into his team. works for us I suppose
Only Gomes and Cathcart are likely to survive from the defence that lined up at the Vic against Norwich in February - Nyom, Ake and Britos have been huge additions to our squad......
Maybe its me but a bit of civility from a Manager wouldn't go amiss. Yes some supporters might say 'the likes of. . . . " about teams. Give some respect, that's why I hope we beat Norwich. GT, Zola and QSF wouldn't use that type of phrase. As I say, maybe I'm too pedantic
Slightly worried about this game. Every game we've won this season has been against teams with at least one less physical centre back and Bassong and Bennett seem quite strong. I reckon they'll play just like Palace with the two centre backs tight to our front two but with a holding midfielder right in front of Deeney so he can't hold the ball up. Don't think this is a game for Jurado, will be a very physical encounter...
Jurado and Anya wide does not fill me with any confidence at all and quite frankly I don't get what either of them have done to deserve a start. Trusting you on this QSF
Jurado ahead of Guedioura in the pecking order? That's an odd decision. I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong on this one...
