Maybe we should have a squad of coaches. Re-employ QSF and just use him on the matches where a laborious 0 - 0 is required.

I will have what he is having. Hopefully Woolwich are on holiday next weekend focusing on the final. Arteta's only chance of silverware this season.

He mentions the forums, interesting. I'm not surprised he's a member, I'm just more surprised he would consider any critical thought about the way the club is run 'despicable'.

After all, if fans weren't 'despicable' when challenging our previous owner, it's unlikely we'd be in what he describes as 'the best period in the club's history'.

We may well be in for an absolute pasting on Tuesday, but we have a chance if we can utilise Sarr and Welbeck.

The above shows the highlights of Arsenal's 2-0 win over Citihad last night. Head t0 3:16 and you'll see a prime example of the way Arsenal utilised Aubameyang. We should be doing exactly the same with Sarr. Low, looping balls from further down the wing that will give Sarr the opportunity to burn it down the pitch and get through on goal. Press their midfield out wide when they are in possession and force them into losing the ball then loft the ball over their defence to Sarr.

Positivity does not win matches especially when the fans are miles away watching on a screen. What matters is playing the right players making sure they are physically and mentally prepared to the nth degree. Making sure that they know the opposition inside out and are comfortable with their own plan and working in one big unit or as a collection of units. The fact we have not got the right players is a fault of the owners. The fact we have not got the right tactics and setup recently is that of the management.

No amount of shouting COYH, Golden Boys forever is going to change that one iota. There are fundamental things wrong at the club. Yes we reached the promised land. Thank you Gino. It has been great. But lets keep getting better and keep things fresh. Grow a little more slowly every year. I am not saying we should be winning the League. Of course not. Maybe a decent cup run here and there a flirtation with Europe but improvement in all the other things. And we have not done that. The owners have become complacent and foolhardy and not changed the models when circumstances have changed. Nothing to admire in that.

Thankfully I’ve just checked and it’s on BT sport which I don’t have, so by default I’ve been saved from watching a very likely awful game of football rooting for a team I do not even support.

Unfortunately my masochistic tendencies will draw me to watching this and as someone on here said, this season is like death by a thousand cuts.

Thank God the life blood is almost completely drained from my suffering body and tortured mind and by next Sunday the pain will end I can be at peace..

I shall continue with the cricket and my planning for the arrival of a new coach at the club. Then I might go to Canada!

Most of us have been saying the same thing since West Ham beat Chelsea. But we persist in pumping it forward hoping DeeKnee can win a flick on. Hopeless tactics. We got lucky against Norwich and Newcastle but luck cannot produce results needed. West Ham played us perfectly and had virtually won the game after 10 minutes. City will yet again target Kiko defensively and we will get absolutely murdered. It's not if we lose it's by how many.

  20. We need a back 5, I'd use Mapps as one full back, and Masina told to stay put and defend.

In front of that 4 midfielders told to retain the ball, pass sideways and backwards and sideways again, but never punt forward.

Sarr on his own running around up top.

Then we need to spoil the game, waste time from minute 1, roll around injured, if any of the staff have a dog let it loose onto the pitch, get someone to streak, set the fire alarm off, land a helicopter on the pitch, whatever we can do to spoil any momentum, cut up the pitch with a plough beforehand so City can't tika taka, and hope to run the clock down. Total anti football.

Wow, another brainless minion coming under the thrall of the Cult Of Nath, fighting his battles for him with your tongue so far up his backside I'm surprised you have been able to post anything, never mind that rabid ranting.

Look, you tool, countering the extreme views of someone who hates everything about the club is not enforcing my thinking on anyone else. The fact you haven't grasped that someone can argue strongly against another's point of view suggests you're the dictator, not me.

I couldn't care what the state of the club is, I never want our team to lose.

Now off you go and play.

Nine at the back and Sarr up front on his own so he can score a breakaway goal from one of our constant hoofs out of defence on Tuesday night, then the same again against the Gooners when we play them :D

Nath is always miserable, this club was not considered "toxic" when QSF had Ighalo and Deeney firing, nor did we need a total clear out when we beat Wolves at Wembley, so if Nath has been angry that whole time, he's not been proved right, he's a broken clock.

That's a really, really great first example from FIVE YEARS ago. Not at all harking on back to what are, in the here and now, complete irrelevancies of the past. I also wasn't complaining when we were runners up in the top division in 1983. Or born.

And yes, I was still calling for improvement to our squad and for certain player to be put out to pasture both before and after the Wolves win. Strangely enough, one excellent result didn't dictate my opinion on the long term, bigger picture and our need for change in order to remain competitive and competent.
