That could easily be one of a number of members on here. Almost a word for word, carbon copy of post after post aimed at the realists of the forum who aren't busy swallowing whatever load Pozzo serves them up.
The only positive in times like this is that we get to turn on each other (to an even greater degree).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the penalty came from no one taking the bull by the horns from a corner that came from Cathcart heading the ball over from 1 yard out? If I've remembered correctly, that phase of play sums us up. Lack of communication, no one wiling to be a leader and sort out trouble properly when it presents itself, no one is calm enough to lead and control their teammates. Your right but that's also a problem with the back five. Everyone's passing the buck. "Someone else will do it" type mentality. Nobody is coming steaming in screaming MIIIIIIIIINEEEE and getting rid. About four times today there was a miscommunication with full back and centre backs staring at each other waiting for someone to clear it.
We were doing fine until Dawson got injured. What are we supposed to do with Femenia, Cathcart, Mariappa and Masina in defence?!
Yep. Cathcart, another one who gets away with being utter **** most of the time, heads the ball over after it bounces harmlessly off the bar when there wasn't another player within 20 yards. Epic stuff Craig.
Did anyone else see the comical golf cart drivers on the way out? One drive into the metal fence One tried a five point turn in the middle of the crowd walking down occupation road. Made the shittttiness of the result Sting a little less
If what reids wrote is correct then the analysis they are doing must be inferior. Which (and this is absolutely no reflection on your competency either reids, just follow the Beccacece route into management) is shocking. Losing Dawson was critical. But once again the final third is abysmal attacking wise and defensively. There is no composure in the final third. Simple passes are missed. Deulofeu makes bad decisions too often. What makes it all the more galling is that Burnley are terrible and we were the better team right up to the gift of the goal. But I cannot disagree with Squibba for instance on Flores. We are in the ascendant and he takes Gray off for Deeney. Why not keep them together and take off say Holebas. Go to a four and make the most of being on top. We hardly had any presence in the box today. The crossing was diabolical. The number of times the ball was cut back to no one ie Kiko, Doucoure, Gerard or the ball aimed in was powderpuff was shambolic. The outswinging corner with no one on the keeper. We made their lives easy after doing the hard work in creating the chances. And then to fold like that is telling. So fragile. We missed Kabasele and Dawson. And like Luke says Burnley hopefully they go down sooner than later. So negative. And the patron saint of football Sean Dyche bleating about cheating. What is time wasting if not cheating ? Trying to deny the opposition the time to score ? Or flopping down with minimal contact. Tarkowski and Gray, McNeil ? He should wind his neck in about the hypocrite. Not to mention Barnes racing not to get the ball but to put himself into a position he could be kicked by Holebas. That sort of decision needs to be eliminated. There is no intent from Holebas. He cannot see the odious Barnes and his sole intention is to clear the ball. Undone by a corner, long ball, typical antifootball from Dyche.
No, we were doing fjne for half an hour. Masina was also fine for fifteen minutes, we didn’t concede as soon as he came on did we. How does Dawson going off explain Holebas being a **** in the box and Cathcart being ran past in a straight line and Foster racing out. Why was Foster flapping at every corner too? No excuses. Mine is only £400+ but I agree. The squad though are not playing for him. The defeatism is riddled through them. Three shocking goals to conceed. And Foster could have made it four. He is another shrug of the shoulders we try again type of player. I think we should just start off loading the players inJanuary, play the youngsters and start recruiting for the Championship. This squad has had its day.
I dunno. I’ve seen all of those named players have much worse games. That’s probably a pretty bad thing on reflection!
Why is Capoue trying to a free kick over the wall from 18/19 yards out? It’s never ever going in. Everyone knows you should go under the wall from there or try to drive it. Who even is our free kick taker? The players didn’t seem to know. Why is Douccoure running in front of Delafoo blocking his route to goal rather than making a run off him? Why when Gray is making a run does Delafoo ignore him? Why when a fresh Sarr has yards in front of him on a break from a corner is Delafoo just running in a straight line by himself. Just some examples of shocking decision making today. Poor, poor and poor! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Presumably Dawson was targeted and taken out of the game by Burnley? Couldn't really tell from the Rookery.
I would love to know what was said at FT. Not much probably. Foster probably switched changes rooms to get Barnes's shirt. I am getting fed up of walking away from the Vic feeling so dejected. Is it ever going to change? QSF cannot save us, fat Sam won't save us either. There is absolutely no point in doing defensive and striking drills when nothing happens the following Saturday. Burnley were not superb, far from it. We just made them look good especially second half. That score line should not flatter them either. They did what we cannot do half time. SCORE A GOAL. I feel like punching something right now.

As much as he has been off for quite a few games, I don't blame him for that. I blame Foster and the others for not telling him there's no one there. It was dead silent at that moment Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk
He could have gone four at the back and brought on Chalobah to sit in front, so 4-1-3-2. Massina is shocking
Agreed. He had his back to the pitch and had no idea if a Burnley player was closing him down. Conceding a corner should not be terminal anyway.
I predicted 4-0, so l was close. Utter rubbish it seems. Next week is the Battle of the Sack at St Mary's. One team will be without a manager come Monday morning. We still have snow, so relegation not certain - yet..
Unbalanced. Gutless squad. Doesn’t want to play defensively. Can’t, even if they wanted too. Watch the exodus and the downing of tools. many idiot could have seen it should have been gray as a last 20 minute sub and not the whole game
Manager may be a slight issue, but owners need to take responsibility. Mentioned it again and again. Spending 6m on Defenders and strikers, our two weakest points is absolutely ******* us over.
Our points total now is worse than in the 99/00 season, which back then was essentially a League One team in the Premier League. This team is woeful. Preparation for the Championship should be starting immediately now, otherwise the powers that be are imbeciles.
Couple of things. Open up the dictionary. Go to "sh*housing" it just says "Burnley". The worst team we could face at this time in our state in front of our fans, with our players and manager. Another game where we don't take the chance we had and suffer for it. At 1-0 we lost heart, at 2 we gave up. Feels like 9 players are playing out of position.
