What the hell has happened to janmaat? Sema is an embarrassment at this level and kiko has a good cross on him. Play him higher up until we can bring an actual right winger in. A lot of players having stinkers out there today. Kabasele, cleverley both been very rusty. This is the best Burnley can play though. We just need to up it slightly and we will still win comfortably .
Well he hardly gets the ball does he ? Most of the attack comes down the right. Sema needs to come off. This experiment of him being played out of position is not working. Get Quina on. Once again losing all the secondary balls in midfield and no control at all in there. Deulofeu wasteful once again. Golden chance to dictate the match wasted. Mariappa and Kabasele are abysmal with the ball at their feet and both look vulnerable which does not help. Holebas and Femenia have played well along with Capoue and Foster.
Our worst players are kabs and Sema. Cleverley isn't in the game enough and pereyra anonymous. Deeney is way down the list of issues
I completely get why Javi wants to play Gerard up top instead of out right (even if he can't finish), but we've got to find a better option than Sema to be the starting right winger
Should have been 1 or 2 nil up in the opening 20mins. Didn’t take our chances, it’s been all Burnley since. Not the best half. The good news is, we can improve immensely, Burnley can’t. We have more game changers on the bench and a manager that knows what he is doing. Javi will fire them up at HT. Still confident we will win this. What I will say is this, the fans inside the stadium need to find their voices and get behind the team. Pathetically quiet in there. Start singing for flip sake!
Worst half of football I have seen for a long while hopefully we wake up and step it up in the second half, luckily we are level.
Sema looks like a Championship footballer at best. I don’t understand why we keep playing him. He’s incapable of delivering anything with his right foot so his movement on that side is so predictable. Kabs just looks like an accident waiting to happen and has for months.
