I snuck into the ground overnight and have been hiding. I can confirm that it's Deeney up top on his own. We seem to be lumping the ball up to him.

 

From Scunthorpe's updates we seem to be getting some joy down the right-hand side. Would be nice to know who's playing there though!

It was announced yesterday that it would be behind closed doors. Baffling that fans are upset. The club literally told us. No stream, no lineups etc was to be expected. Ivic operates like that in Pre Season. Just ask Maccabi fans.

Not sure why we can’t watch us play but watching the West Ham Brentford game. Brentford look very good but 2-1 against the run of play.

Just got some information from the Scunthorpe match thread. They let slip and mentioned we have a keeper and a defender playing. So, we now know a little more. If I hear more I'll let you know.

 

This is incorrect. I have it in good authority that Watford aren't actually playing today hence why it isn't listed.

There was a late cancellation in the usual 'play on the pitch' bookings that are offered out, and thankfully Scunthorpe were in the area to step in last minute. The right winger is actually Harry the Hornets nephew, aged 15. It's just a group of fans having a kick about with a Scunthorpe side on the way home from the Harry Potter studios.

 

Maccabi fans still got updates on the match though. Behind closed doors have been streamed by other clubs as well as line ups etc. I agree this has all come from Ivic though.

Maccabi fans were saying yesterday that Ivic refused to let a game kick off pre season until the press and everyone had left the stadium. They did, but the press got on to the roof of the stadium and watched from there.

The fact that Scunthorpe are treading carefully as well in their updates is a clear indication that communication was had between the two clubs.
