I suppose this is almost sacrilegious but hearing that Deeney and Mazzari may have fallen out makes me wonder if Deeney has fallen out with our previous managers and led to them going. Could it be that TD is a disruptive influence?

 

My thoughts exactly when it happened! I actually think Okaka did more in 20 odd mins that Deeney did all game too. I would definitely start Okaka against Hull.

I wouldn't be too upset if Deeney left to be honest. If we want to move to the 'next level' we need a better number 9 who can come short, control the ball and lay it off to our attacking midfielders, rather than let it bounce off him all the time as well as act as a target man from time to time. The ball simply hasnt stuck up front when hes been on the pitch meaning we are put under more pressure.
