Saw him in the squad for that too, I think he trained with us in the Summer.. but maybe just at our camp in Italy. I think we were really close to signing him but turned him down as he got injured
Granada will use the market more than we thought because the last games, the team is in a bad moment. He's not working in any sense. He has skills but: 1- He doesn't improve himself his body, so he can't fight a single ball or handle a defender crashing. 2- He is always thinking in River Plate (his Twitter is like a non stop about River) 3- He lost the position in the starting 11 and he is not working to recover it when he goes into de field. Is the common case where a player have skills but his head is the worst enemy. EDITED: Bougaidis (Granada B) on loan to Aris of Salonica. Granada wants the player to play on a first division.
Another good one for the future. Giaretta, the sporting director of Udinese said that Antonio Vutov was coming at Udine for the medicals and then to join the Primavera team (U18). He's considered a very promising young talent from Bulgaria, left footed attacking midfielder. Youngest player ever in their first division. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Vutov http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/antonio-vutov/profil/spieler_220686.html
A good win 1-0 tonight against Inter in the round of 16 of Tim Cup (equivalent of FA Cup). Several bench-warmers in team did really well. Not many "silk-feet" in team, but very good running and pressing. Maicosuel, Lopez and Badu the best. A very good evening. Edit P.S.: and of course I posted this in the wrong thread (transfer rumours instead of Udinese news). Late hour. Sorry.
What's the deal with Badu? Doesn't seem to be a starter for Udine (last time I checked anyway) but has been linked to a heap of Premier league teams, including Liverpool recently. Is it all just agent talk?
Signing of Vutov confirmed. That's very good. http://www.udineseblog.it/articolo/Calcio_mercato/Vutov_ha_firmato/4/168789 Regarding Badu, he often starts from bench. Played the full match (and quite well, the best on field behind Maicosuel and Lopez) against Inter. Honestly, he's more a great runner than a great football player. Sometimes his shoots are good but sometimes are just embarassing. But he's such an athlete that he's quite useful anyway in midfield. He'd be maybe more apt to English football and as he's an International for Ghana he might receive easily the work permit even being extra-EU.
Granada may be close to sign on loan Tiago Ilori (central defender from Liverpool FC), 20 years, 1.90 meters. That would be a great new because Coeff is close to leave on loan to Hercules CF (we have 7-8 players on loan there) in Segunda División, and maybe, but is quite unsure, Diakhate may leave the club: He wants to leave (he's not playing because he is doing really bad this year and he is even being rude with the coach, right now he is de 4th central defender) but Granada CF says he will only leave if the player brings an offer with money. (I think if Diakhate leaves Coeff would stay at Granada) Also, FC Nantes may be interested in Jona (on loan in Jaen FC in Segunda División, striker that may go to the World Cup with Honduras) to sign them on June, but I dont think Granada CF will sell him yet. We are very interested about making him part of the first team next year.
Hassan Yebda just left the club in a surprise new this morning. He is on the road to Udinese looking for a club where he can play more minutes and go to Brazil 2014. Knowing our president, there must be a player on the road. In other case Yebda would be in the club until june (when his contract expires)
haha who knows... But I dont think so. Seems he wants to stay at Udinese (Don't know if he would play there, sherlock?)
Seems not too likely. We have already so many midfielders. Even too many maybe. Maybe really for WFC? I don't know the player, but one question comes out spontaneously: can he play the Chalobah role? :jumping1:
Diakhaté stop the operation and wont leave the club road to Udine... I'll tell you if there are more news.
Rodrigo Aguirre, 19YO left footed striker, from Liverpool FC Montevideo, is in Udine for the medicals and will sign a 5 years deal. Beaten Monaco, Sporting Braga and Torino which were also interested. http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercat...e-4-milioni-soffiato-monaco-80405692719.shtml http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?action=read&idsel=138887 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/rodrigo-aguirre/profil/spieler_189410.html?from=direktErgebnis This one sound quite promising, considering the number of goals already scored since 18YO in Uruguaian First Division. This one sounds good.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Udinese very near to Wahbi Khazri from Bastia (Ligue 1). http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/wahbi-khazri/profil/spieler_103565.html Likely destination: Granada. Source: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/udinese/?action=read&idtmw=547530
Rumours say Udinese has signed (5 years contract) Nabil Jaadi 17YO from Anderlecht, beating Arsenal which was interested too. http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/nabil-jaadi/profil/spieler_200790.html Edit: not a rumour. The player himself wrote on his Facebook page "Transfert * l'Udinese pour la saison 2014-2015". Good!
Sherlock - has Udinese signed anyone else so far this summer? Has the club been strongly linked with anyone also?
'Udinese's manager Guidolin set to quit Udinese after 4 years and to retire from managerial career to become Udinese's technical director' Interesting. What next for udinese?
Once Alcaraz left as Granada CF coach (finally), Granada wants to sign Rayo Vallecano's coach Paco Jemez, a offensive coach who likes to have the ball and attack. Roberto Carlos has offered himself to be our coach but it seems we already have Jemez almost signed. Great news for us! Also, seems that we have a 10M offer to Brahimi.
Almost certainly sold. This article suggests Benfica have a first option on him, and that Granada don't expect to keep him, but I'm sure that if Real Madrid do come knocking then buying power will win out. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...a-deny-any-deal-agreed-for-guilherme-siqueira
Right, Siqueira will be sold, maybe to Benfica (They have a 7M€ sign option) or maybe Real Madrid (always more than 7M€, they have to increase Benfica's offer), so yes, this year with Siqueira + Brahimi offers we will have cash. Pozzo's style works!
